Hello everyone, I've been reading this post in my case, I submitted my application on October 2016 but since January I haven't receive any news, I ordered GCM notes to see where my app is going, hopully by the first week of July I will get them. this is my status on ECAS

Permanent Residence Application Status in progress

1. We received sponsored 's application for permanent residence on October 13, 2016.

2. We started processing sponsored's application on January 19, 2017.

3. Medical results have been received.

Is it new in process or old in process and how long will it take for ppr.

By looking at my notes I have something similar but mine just says "review required".
I believe when you get AOR2 an officer will do a pre-assessment of the application and if he/she finds an interview is necessary, she will put it as recommend interview and assign it to another officer. The next officer will have to agree with this or waive it. From what I have read, if that first officer believes the marriage or relationship is 100% genuine he will mark it was recommend waiver but this is just speculation from what I have read in other posts.

This won't be found in the pre assessment notes but it is in the eligibility section. Go to page#6 and under eligibility assessment, there should be a field that says status(might be the last line of the page or first of page 7), what does yours says?

hello mikey, did you hear anything from them after the due date? Or did you order for another GCMS notes after the due date to assess if something changed on your file?

Okay lemme keep this short. I'm a Feb 2nd 2017 Applicant and I've been contacted by my VO August 16th 2017 for my original Passport, 2 Photos and updated police clearance. Now it's almost 4 weeks after and I've seen my background check go to "In Process" and my E-cas to "Decision Made'. I can only imagine that that my application is on it's last legs but I'm just wondering how much longer til they return the passport?

If DM is done, and passport has already been received, is there really that much longer to wait?

Sorry in short I'm just a little antsy lol. any idea on how much longer?

Usually they dont take such extra time after passport request. Hope you will be granted visa in a week or two. What is your timeline and VO?
