that's really weird .. i have heard they have done this before to ppl where they send package back but everything is in there .. lazy much? send it back, with a note on it sayin that the documents requested on the checklist were in the package .. even put sticky notes so that the documents stand out .. frustratin!! plus the documents were originally signed and dated so they would know that they merely missed it ..I ticked all the required boxes and placed all documents in the order specified in checklist.

One questions: while I press validate on the new Schedule A form, it says validation successful but at the first page, in the box "Validated" box still says no. Is this normal?
The CIC call center operator does not take an effort to check the file thoroughly rather they have set of answers available which they give to every individual. once you get the letter from CIC you will know the reason for the return.I called them 4 times after 18th July,,,and yesterday they told me that we have a note in our system dated 18th july that your file has been returned due to missing information. No one told me that before and I havnt received my package yet but I called them and asked about the missing documents.
Yes we chose Dr from CIC panel itself. Where are we supposed to see the status as "Done"?Hey from what I understand.... The Dr informs the immigration and than it's uploaded online.

I was finally able to link the application online. I DID NOT use the Spacebar thing for City of town, because it always asked to me put actual city name. So here's what I did:
Use PA's Account
and VOILA, it was there Hopefully this helps someone.
- Permanent Resident --> Family Class (Spouses)
- Choose = Family Name, Given Name, Birth Date
- Enter PA's Family Name, Given Name, Birth Date (I copy pasted Family and Given Names from the application file - not sure if that made any difference)
- DO NOT put anything for city and country of birth (leave it BLANK)
- Enter accurate Passport Information as it is on you application (I copy pasted the Passport Number - not sure if that made any difference)
- Enter Province and City where PA intends to live (Enter as it is in your application)
- Marital Status = Married
- # of applicants = 2 (PA + Sponsor)
Also, as soon as the application was linked, I received the Request for PCC and Schedule A Form. We will be working on that ASAP.

Here's my timeline so far - the most recent action on my file was uploading the Schedule A and my PCC. No other update so far.
App sent: June 9, 2017
App received: June 15, 2017
AOR1: July 19, 2017
App linked: July 20, 2017
Request letter received: July 20, 2017
Schedule A & PCC uploaded: July 21, 2017
Nothing else yet. Hope the SA comes through soon.
