Hi everyone,

I (sponsor) submitted the application on June 20, received by the Missisauga office on June 22nd. Got the AOR on July 18th with UCI and Application Number. I haven't heard anything else from them since then.

I also tried to link the application online, but it kept saying "no application found". What did you guys do to link the application online? Did you use Principal Applicant's information to creat GCKey account or sponsor's? Any specific combination that seemed to help with linking the application? Please let me know. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Use PA information to link the application.

You may check the spreadsheet that has intrucstions for linking app and pay attention on what you have filled up on forms before . it happened to me when i wrongly entered some questions at the last part of linking process , as long as the info is correct then you could link it rightaway . good luck

I did submit this form originally, i am not sure why they are asking it again. i only filled PA travel history there which is Nil.
In form there is a column to fill sponsor travel history as well, may be I have to fill that one as well ?

No.. You don't have to fill that part. That's what I said earlier. You tick mark on Did Not Travel. This is generic form for applications of all categories. That's why this spouse option is part of the form. But, for family class application where spouse is the sponsor and in Canada, you don't fill that part.

They know that you have travelled out of your country because you are in Canada and you are the sponsor.. Makes sense..??What will they do with your history..? You are already in Canada. They want to know about PA who wants to come to Canada... They have all your travel history just a single click away in their system..

Anyways even if you fill out all the details of your travel, it won't hurt and they won't return your file because of it. But, I wouldn't waste even a single minute of Officer by making him/her read all those things and make process slower by minute..

My spouse is an Indian citizen for his application we used the adhar card as national id... I guess because it is used as a proof of id in the country (eg in banks in india )

It is not mandatory to submit National ID when your country doesn't have one..!! Adhar Card is valid as ID everywhere in India, which is great but it's not India's national ID as of now...!! But, even if you have sent it, that's ok.. because It doesn't matter at all..!!

on ECAS status visible medical received .

It means they receive medical online or on the basis of courier receipt that they received.

Confusion arise because we send our documents ( background declaration, photo, PCC, medical receipt) in June.

More than 1 month passed then we request to MP and MP confirm that Delhi office did not received courier yet.
But courier tracking status shown delivered in next day.

Please help or suggest....

We had submit pcc medical background photo in June , but still no update

We just submitted my spouses schedule A form , pcc and the medical receipt on July 26... his medical is being sent from the panel physician I'm assuming cic will get it by august 2... hopefully we hear something soon!!!

1.Photographs of principal applicant missing
2.Generic application form for Canada missing
When I opened the package I found both documents at the very top just below the letter from CIC. I don't understand what they meant by that documents are missing?

You may check the spreadsheet that has intrucstions for linking app and pay attention on what you have filled up on forms before . it happened to me when i wrongly entered some questions at the last part of linking process , as long as the info is correct then you could link it rightaway . good luck

May be try calling the customer service and ask what they meant by it and follow what they say. Good luck!

Call them .. and put everything in the order of the checklist .. and then even write them a note .. im suprised they didnt just email u .. thats silly ..
