Passports to CPC Ottawa- June 2017

I just noticed that the CIC status has been updated to read my application has been 'approved' and there is also a counterfoil doc# being generated...

I sent my pp on june 27 and recieved down there 28th. Got online approval july24. Tracker not activated. Did yours?
Any guesses when will they send us our passports.

Folks I finally received my passports today with COPR docs here is my timeline.

FSWO - Shipped passport from USA

21st Jun - PPR email
27th Jun - Passports shipped
28th Jun - Passports delivered
11th July - Passports received by CPC ( as per CIC)
14th July - Application Approved online
24th July - Passports mailed back (tacker activated)
25th July - Passports received with COPR docs. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My time line has been little over 4 weeks.

Congrats, mine took a long time as well. Also, sent mine from the US, it would be nice if they let us use the local VO. I could've had it back a lot faster

Which city are you from? My passport return tracker was also activated yesterday but I have not received it

I used UPS worldwide express envelope (costed in USD 70 for the return envelope) it has a service turnaround of 24hrs. I guess it depends on the kind of shipping service you use. You should get yours shortly. What shipping service did you use?

Yeah true, I first thought that I'd request for a local VO but when I looked up the online forums realized that CIC is very lazy to respond and that to with standard response templates plus not is a accurate way. So figured I'd bite the bullet and send it across the border to get the visa stamped. Had to wait over 4 weeks for the entire process to be done, finally i have it back.

Recieved copr and passport back today. Wondering if its worth going tonight to fort errie for landing. Or should wait until Tuesday morning. Is there any borders that allow over the weekend or Friday?

Finally application approved, passport sent from US on 6/28 and reached Ottawa on 6/30. As per CIC, they received it on 7/13, and got approved today 7/27.

Good for you. We have same timeline, but I'm still waiting for approval.
