India PCC Format Issued from UK

Hi Friends,

I am an Indian national and currently in UK from last three years. So I have got the Indian Police certificate issued from Consulate of India, Birmingham. I noticed that one of my friend in India got it, that has text written exactly as mine, but has a photo of him as well. But India PCC issued to me from UK does not have my photo.

Will this be okay to submit the India PCC issued from UK without a photo? Or if it is not, do I need to contact Consulate of India in UK again? Just to confirm the application for the PCC had this column to add the reason of need of PCC - and I selected Immigration and then it asked for country and I added Canada. Also they have taken the photo from me with the application.

I got one from Ediburgh consulate and it has a photo. I am not sure if it is mandatory to have a photo on PCC. Check with consulate again if they missed affixing photo.. Normally, they do..

Thanks.. I just called the Birmingham Colsulate and as per them they do not affix photo and were confirming that London HCI also issues it without photo and as it has all my particulars and seal of Consulate and it should suffice.

Anybody on this forum have got their Indian PCC issued from Birmingham Consulate or London HCI.. If yes, can you please advise if it had your photo?

Thanks.. I just called the Birmingham Colsulate and as per them they do not affix photo and were confirming that London HCI also issues it without photo and as it has all my particulars and seal of Consulate and it should suffice.

I think they are right.. Dont worry too much about not having a photo..

I recieved PCC from London embassy without any photo on it. No questions asked.
