I didn't get any such letter. Since they already gave the caveat that you can ignore if it doesn't apply to you, then I think it may be a generic letter. In my view, there won't be any harm in resubmitting those documents. Remember it is better to be sure than to be sorry.

I don't have any number. However, I imagine a creative google search might return something. If I were in your shoes, I will call up CIC and actually talk to an agent. I would give my application number to the agent for he/she to pull up my application and figure out what actually is going on. I recommend calling CIC 30mins or at most an hour after they open for business else you will sit on the phone all day trying to get through to an agent.

Hi guys,

the question is a little bit out of topic yet, I've received recently nomination from BC ( Skilled worker stream inland, I'm currently in Vancouver),
and is going to send application to CIC paper based - can you please advise whether the Identity and Civil Status documents (birth certificates, marriage etc) can be in copies with certified translation to English or it should be notarized copies and certified translation?

thank you for your answer
All the documents that r in other language than English or French must b translated in English or French and notarized by a notary public ... and translator will attach an affidavit stating that the translations he/she did r true and he/she have knowledge of both languages to do such translation...

Read the information under " Translation of Documents " clause.

Yes. For Inland, they send MR generally in 1 year.

for those in BC, if don't get your PR before your work permit expires, you can get in touch with BC PNP and they will give issue you a new work permit. You just have to ensure you have a job at the time because the work permit cannot be an open one..it will be for a particular employer

The time frame is annoying but if your work visa extends past the time line then you should have nothing to worry about
thank you for info and support!

do you know by any chance whether I can apply for bridge work permit right after submission of my paper based application to CIC or I need to wait till AOR??

I'm not sure. Best bet is to email the BC PNP or the province that nominated you and find out. However if I were in your shoes, and my work permit will expire before getting AOR or right after receiving AOR, I'm gona apply right away for bridge work permit...things could get complicated if your current permit gets expired before you make a move

Has anyone received or know anyone receiving MR inland applicant in less than a year? Say within six months after AOR? Comment and share your time line and experience. I'm seriously optimistic and don't want to believe that it takes at least a year for all applicants..I think it takes that long if a lot of background check is done

if a form wasn't sent to you with your MR letter, then you can just send the information back to them by using a generic template. I guess this is a new requirement as this information wasn't requested from me when I got MR. However, it was requested when I got PPR and the template for it was sent with the PPR letter. I could send that to you if you want it.
Thanks so much for your clarification. That's exactly what I did. I developed a template picked up from another colleague, filled the necessary details and got it endorsed by the Panel Physician during my medical exam. Thanks, man.

I got a PPR and going to submit passport in next few days. After issuing an immigration visa, I know usually they give 1 year timeline to enter in Canada.. I'm planning to go to sep2017 but can't stay there for more than few weeks and have to return back to my country. So In few weeks I will not get my PR card in hands.

My question is if I return back to my country without receiving PR card, will I be able to enter Canada again? How long I can stay outside Canada without Having a valid PR card.
Please provide an expert opinion. Thanks.
