Hi,same situation. AOR 01 June, meds passed 07 July.
You will be getting direct PPR email. Don't worry !!Nope! Still the same.
My opinion: The Background check status cannot be used as a basis for anything. I got PPR while my status was still "Not Applicable."
Any update on your status?Hi Guys,
It seems I am also sailing on the same boat. I too get worried after checking the tracker and seeing people updating their "Background Check" status on daily basis, but in my application/case it is stagnant till date.
I submitted my application on 22nd May (22/05/17) , received the acknowledgement on the same day itself. By 14th July (14/07/17) my medicals were passed {not sure about the exact date as I have filed my application through an agent}.
Received the RPRF on 19th July (19/07/17) and paid the required amount just in time on 26th July (26/07/17). I too cannot see any change in my "Background Check" status since the time Medicals were passed (or may be from Day one itself - not sure though); but certainly its very much the same from 14th July (the day I saw my medical passed status) till date (14th August) and its been a month now.
Can you guys please confirm (or approx) how much more time (tentative) will it take for the PPR.
Thanks!!
Any update on your status?Ahhh... That's strange! Thanks a lot for your reply though. I analysed the tracker and almost everyone reported change in BGC soon after medicals passed. And it really got me worried. Also, I haven't paid RPRF upfront, so i hope they will contact me soon for the payment.
Any update on your status?
congrats ... you got the direct PR or your status ever changedYea buddy!! Got the PR in September..will be migrating with my family in December..Hope to see you guys soon there!!
All the very best!!
thanks for reply..Status got changed to IP2 during last week of August (so technically more than 45 days after "Medical Passed") and then PPR during September second week..
