For which country was the PCC requested?

For Colombia; it is to be provided later when CIC asks and not with the application.
If your application is in Ottawa you can call them and get help through agent. If it is with a local VO try writing to them if there is no contact number provided for the VO. You just need to tell them that it seems like a system error and may be the Visa officer had to request it for some other application and mistakenly asked you for it.

After 10 attempted calls on Friday I did get through to a phone agent. My file is at CPC Ottawa. The agent was very nice but said she couldn't help me but told me to email CPC Ottawa. I did that on Friday but am praying a response doesn't take a month...I've worked and prayed so hard for my PR!

Did you ask what's the exact status?Like if they have completed eligibility or not?

I too called on Friday and was told that my eligibility is still in progress at Ottawa office. The cpc Ottawa email id is useless. They won't utter anything except visa office and would simply mention that the file is still under SLA of 6 months..

My additional documents changed from reviewed to uploaded. Didn't send anything. Wondering what's going on with the file! Hope they take a decision on eligibility soon. ;'(

Every time when customer care is contacted, something changes in the application. Like when I emailed them last time, background status changed to in progress the same day.

The lady said it was in process. I really didn't press on my application status as I was baffled why I was asked for an RCMP check when I have never been to Canada.

I might try calling back in a few days if I do not get a response from CPC Ottawa and ask if there is anyway the phone agent can send an email directly to the officer processing my file and inform them of the error. You would think on something like that, they would try to fix the mistake quickly. My fingers are crossed!!

Understandable .. I believe they will take this issue over email.

Don't worry ... You just need to forget about this and focus on other things. This will eventually come.

I have an experience on this too... I have called them once on the 20th of June to check if i have cleared the medicals. The very next day, the Additional Documents changed from Reviewed to Uploaded. I have never uploaded anything too. Since then and till this day, the additional documents says uploaded

I spoke to an agent to know the status of my application. The agent did not reveal anything but just said everything looks good and my file in Ottawa. I asked if i cleared the Eligibility or Criminality or Security, the agent said don't worry, you will know the decision by October.

Let me see if i see any changes to my application in the coming days.

I understood why additional documents change to uploaded after a call to customer care. Because the entry for our call gets inserted in to GCMS notes and the application considers it some form of upload. Hence the status.

Do you have any idea if our files will be transferred to our home country for security ? If so, does it delay the process?

Do you have any idea if our files will be transferred to our home country for security ? If so, does it delay the process?

I am not sure how security works, but the file will be processed from Ottawa office only. Ottawa is VO for US residents.

that looks like good news for sure! Because an inland applicant with 4th April AOR called CIC today and they confirmed that his eligibility has been completed, and he could expect PPR anytime. Your case must be all set for PPR too!

"We do not need additional documents." It has stayed this way since I uploaded the RCMP check.
