Regarding the Paper- Based PR application

I only started working full time in Jan , while received my PGWP on mid Feb.

My job is under NOC A

Just got off the phone with CIC, they told me that even I received my provincial nominations in the upcoming month, as apllicants under NOA 0,A,B , I can only apply through express entry and not paper based application.

However, currently I wouldn't be qualify for express entry as I do not have a year full time experience.

There is an chance that my nomination will expire before I entry the empress entry due to the work experience requirement.

The agent told me if I would not able to submit my PR application 6 month within my nomination. I would also have to request an renewal on my provincial nomination.

Did anyone heard of this ??

I was totally just expecting apply through paper base process right after I get the nomination.

Thanks

Yes, you have to apply through express entry if you are NOC 0,A,B - which requires one year express

I just don't know what my options are if I don't have one year experience. The immigration call agent didn't know either.

Ok.. from where you are doing your background check?

I went Toronto Police Headquarters and they said we don't do that.
You need to goto your consulate(embassy) and tell them you need the police certificate. They gonna contact their respective country and do background check about you.

Based on what I read:

OINP will mail you a certificate for the nomination, after that you can probably update you express entry profile somehow indicating you now a provincial nomination. The points doesn't get added automatically I think.

Check the Cic webpage.
Under
"If you are nominated under a non-Express Entry stream:"

I think our stream is non-express entry stream

Yes, that's what I had in mind.

As of this point, if I don't have enough work experience, I am not qualified for EE, therefore should be applying through paper based.

However based on the conversation I had with the CIC officer, they say at this point I will not be qualified for paper based process ( Only NOC C and D and apply) and EE ( only qualified program can apply).

Therefore they ask me to accumulate one year experience to be qualified for EE and then apply for PR. Or say to wait on the specific instruction coming from OINP.

Honestly I hope it's the CIC officer that messed up.
