Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

hello guys..

I'm from Philippines and currently here in the Philippines. Working in a bank for 4 years. But I applied thru online last July 7 by my agency/consultant, they are based on Ontario Canada .. un sister ko Kc na Canadian citizen ang kumuha ng consultant ko. I just sent thru email lahat ng documents ko sa knila.

Until now kasi wala pang receipt na narerecive un consultant ko .. Is there someone na same case Lang ? If my mga na approve thru consultant and online application can you please share me your timeline

One more question, Is it okay na mag upfront medical exam na ko kahit wala pang medical request ?

There is differently something wrong here. Ang paguusapan natin hindi na policy ng government ng agency ha. Batas na ito. If you are going to Canada at galing ka sa mga banda na kailangan ng medical kailangan mo ng medical. May mga exemption at isa rito ay, kapag from pinas ka tapos nagstay ka sa Japan, Japan being a country that does not require a medical exam, then di mo kailangan ng exam. So tama ang agency mo, na may nagragrant ng visa KUNG ang applicant ay wala sa pinas at residence ng banda na di kailangan nag medical exam.

OF COURSE MY AGENCY WAS TALKING ABOUT MY OWN APPLICATION, WHICH IS MY APPLICATION AS A FILIPINO CITIZEN IN THE PHILIPPINES. I ASKED THEM JUST RECENTLY KUNG MAY CHANCES BA THEY SAID YES, IF SO WERE THEY LYING???

OF COURSE MY AGENCY WAS TALKING ABOUT MY OWN APPLICATION, WHICH IS MY APPLICATION AS A FILIPINO CITIZEN IN THE PHILIPPINES. I ASKED THEM JUST RECENTLY KUNG MAY CHANCES BA THEY SAID YES, IF SO WERE THEY LYING???

What exactly did they say? Baka naman kasi they said na yes it's possible tpos they cited nga those applicants coming from countries na medical exempted..

but kasi if you're a Filipino citizen living in the Philippines (a country in which we are not medical exempted), it's protocol that they will require medical

yup! just tell the clinic magupfront medical ka.. you'll be submitting the e-Medical sheet that they'll give you when you submit your application

Of course, I was talking about my own application. I asked them if possible akong maggrant kahit wlang medical!! At are you sure tlaga sa sinasabi mo, as far as I can remember I was granted UK student visa for my MBA khit wlang medical and thats a fact!

Hello Po sa lahat

I have a question po. I know everyone here can help me.
Mag start na sana ako mag process ng student visa kaya lang medyo may problema sa papers na ipapasa ko. Kasi Married ako and I have to submit marriage certificate plus the birth certificate of my wife. Yung glitch po is yung last name sa Birth certificate nya is not yet corrected like Gomes. pero dapat "Gomez" po yung tama at yun din gamit nya sa Marriage certificate. I was told na e process yung correction sa birth certificate nya pero it will take like 3-4months, medyo time constraining kasi January yung intake ko. Ano po ba ang best possible way na hindi ma deny yung application ko dahil lg sa wrong spelling na surname.

Malaking bagay po yung maitutulong nyo.

Hello po ask ko lang po sa mga naka experience sa immigration na nagdala ng mga foods like dried mangoes,polvoron,hopia binubuksan po ba nila ang maleta? Thanks! Sa August 3 na ang flight ko at medyo marami pinapabili ang cousin ko hehe.

Define receipt?

That is not how the upfront medical works. Upfront is you do medical and you submit the eMedical information sheet (the receipt you will get after medical) along with your application. Not after you file your application then you decide to do a medical exam.

They might be. Because I cannot see any reason why you are special that you do not need a medical exam.

Wag mo cinocompare Uk sa Canada. Canada and UK have different immigration law and thats a fact!
You can your visa approved in UK but can still get denied in Canada!

I don't know if this will work but try to get an affidavit of discrepancy.

Yes pinabubuksan nila kapag tingin nila may dala kang hindi dapat. Kapag nag dala ka ng meat product (in can or cooked), basta meat product kukunin nila yun. So they will check your baggage. Dried fish ok lang.

Meron ba phone number ang embassy na pwede tawagan?? If meron, visa officer ba ang makakausap? I sent case inquiries to them but no update pa din about my application. Its been a month since I replied to them the additional documents they requested.
