can you share your timeline please? My background check also N/A. March 11 applicant

My timeline is under my profile. My application was received at CIC March 31st, 2016. I read somewhere that sometimes the background check goes to 'In Process' at the same time that 'Decision Made' appears on ECAS. To be honest I am beginning to think that each immigration officer does things differently. Let me know when your background check changes. I hope it changes soon and you get your DM and PPR.

Rest Assured. Jan 8, 2016 applicant still waiting. Hehe.
My MP told me that the document says I am queueing for the 2nd officer to do a final review.
CIC told me I have passed every check 2 months ago. Don't know why need a 2nd officer to do a final review.

I am also Jan 8 applicant, BG in process since April 22, 2017. Today exactly 18 months have passed. PGWP going to expire in a month time. I don't know when this long wait will end. It's almost 3 years now since I started this painfull process.

I wonder if there is anything we could do as January applicants. There must be a reason why our cases are still open while March applicants are getting their PRP's already. Maybe talk to a news outlet? Something to bring awareness to our situation?

Im a Feb 11 applicant.. i just dont understand that if theres nothing wrong with our application then what takes them so long to finalized it? It is just so frustrating...

mine has been termed as complex case and criminality has been re initiated(probably coz i added my spouse later)
and it has been sent for second review to a different officer.

I applied TRV for myself and my wife. Mine got approved and my wife's is cancelled. I am an April 2016 PNP Applicant and have completed medicals on May 2017. Could some one let me know, if my wife would have to leave Canada. She is still holding a work permit till Feb 2018

Bro I believe it got declined because she already has a TRV till Feb 2018. You need to apply for her extension around 45-60 days before feb 2018 just in case your permanent residency hasnt got approved by then. They wont approve it before hand because she has enough time left on her visa to expire.
