Hey guys
A quick urgent question.
I applied for PGWP on the 22nd of June. Before then, I was under implied status as a student and was waiting to get my renewed study permit extension. I received my online extension approval on the 20th of June and they gave me only 41 extra days as i recently graduated.
Given that I had so little time left to apply for PGWP, I decided to apply for it asap on the 22nd of June after getting the online approval letter for my study permit extension, which clearly states that the issue date was 20th of June (valid till July 31st 2017).
Now I was wondering given the fact that I didn't wait for the sp paper to come by mail (which I received after a 6 days) and applied for PGWP as soon as I received my status validity through online, will there be any issue with regards to this? I talked to the school's advisor and he suggested to go ahead and apply.
As far as I know that we need a valid study permit for PGWP application, doesn't necessarily mean that I need to have the paper in my hands?

Thanks for the help so far!

I think you should be fine since your status is valid and they have it in the system. It's not that you have to attach a photocopy of your study permit to your application.

Thanks that's what I was thinking. I would have waited for the paper if attaching a photocopy was mandatory. A lot of my friends have applied for PGWP without the study permit attached and got approved.
