Hi all, newbie here. I'm a PR sponsoring my wife who's in Manila.
I've been browsing the threads for a while and I would just like a little rundown on the timeline and how long it takes on average for the processing?

I'm aware that CIC revised the spousal visa application requirements this June, and I'm planning to send ours within this July. Meron po ba kayo idea what are the implications nung pag-revise ng requirements? Maybe processing is shorter because they've restricted the amount of proof to provide?

My husband try to call later the cic..by the way ano po yung sabi ng cic sa inyo ng tumawag po kayo?..ipaproce ba nila agad or mag eemail sila to assure you na in process yung application mo?

Kamusta kayo? Pwede magtanong. Sa mga applicant na hiningan ng new NBI. Bakit daw kayo hiningan ulit ng new NBI? dapat ba "No Criminal Record" ang nakalagay? kasi ang nakalay sa NBI ni Hubby, "No Record On File".

Please help naman.

If it says, "no record on file", then 1st time ni hubby mo kumuha ng NBI. Walang problema dun

Thank you! First time ni Hubby nagsubmit ng NBI na kasama sa application. Pero hindi niya first time kumuha ng NBI, kasi kailangan din dati sa work niya.

"No record on file" ang mag show up kung never pa daw kumuha ng nbi before, for renewals ang nakalagay "no derogatory record", I'm not sure kung bakit ganun nakalagay sa NBI ninyo. But as long as hindi, "record as stated, no criminal record, or no pending case" ung nakalagay then that's good enough.

Dati po "we need additional docs"..nagchange siya po na "we do not need additional docs"

hi everyone! bago lang po ako dito, i just got married last june 3 2017, then makukuha namin yung marriage certificate namin, red ribbon authenticated this coming july 12, one of the requirements sa pag apply ng spousal sponsorship is MC, after we can get our certificate that was the time na mag start na kame mag apply, i have a daughter already 3 yo then naka apliyedo sya sa tatay nya which is not my canadian husband, is there any chance na sabay sabay kame maka alis ng husban ko then ng anak ko going back to canada? my husband is staying for about 4 months now here in the Philippines, after din namin mag apply for sponsorship we are also planning to apply for visitor or working visa, any advice for you guys? is it okay for us to apply for both sponsorship and visitors visa?

Hi. This may sound an idiotic question pero just wanna make sure. How did you send your nbi/addtl docs and passport sa vfs? Does it need to have a letter or just the document itself? Thank you

I have sent mine through post sa canada. Actually everything was sent umpisa pa lang then ang additional ko na documents naiwan sa canada sa asawa ko, so what he did was just mailed it to them.
