Hi,

I am enrolled fulltime at the University of Alberta studying compsci. However, laster semester (Winter 2017), I was ill and took a part-time load. I resume full-time studies next fall (Fall 2017) as per usual. My question is with regards to summer work. I am currently working full time on campus employed by the university. The study permit rules mention that I am allowed to work full time during scheduled breaks as long as I am enrolled as a full-time student. I was part time last semester, then enrolled for full time classes next semester before accepting summer work. Is this okay or should I be concerned ?

(Please note that this is a completely different question from my previous thread is why I thought I would post a new thread.)

I won't worry about it too much. Though you screwed your chances for a PGWP by studying only part time in a semester that wasn't your final one.

The issue is that I am extending my study permit next year. I was wondering if the above mentioned facts would affect that.

Hello,
If i cant pay my semester tuition fees (i paid only for 1st semester)
Can i take a break from the school and work to get some money to pay for tuition ?
If not, what are the possible options if i am in a situation where i cant afford the tuition anymore due to some problems back home.
Please your help will be appreciated...
