Hi

Were you able to validate the form?
Yes at the time when I submitted originally I'm sure I was able to validate it, but haven't done again as per their request as yet. Figure I will make sure I have the latest format and try do Webform. Will let you know how it goes

Asked once before but will try again. I am sponsoring my Kiwi partner here under Family Sponsorship Common Law. Approved as a sponsor. We applied outbound but have since moved here to Canada, with her on a temp 6 mth visitor visa. Guy atcustoms was pretty explicit that the PR approval would take longer than her temp visa would last, so she better be prepared to leave the country by Xmas (yes he was an ass). Anyway, what options are open to her for extending her stay if her PR application is pending? I would think we could apply for an extension and just have to be early and proactive with it. Thoughts?

Yes, you can just extend her visitor visa, make sure you apply for one on time, she will receive implied status until she receives an answer from CIC regarding her extension, usually takes them a couple of months to make a decision. Showing them you have money in the bank to support yourselves and a letter stating she staying with you etc. usually does the trick.

Hi.. i see from your signature that you linked your application and sent schedule A on same day. Did you get any request to upload it same day? or you sent it via web form? Thanks.
I only got CIC request to upload schedule A, uploaded via mycic account. I sent medicial and PCC upfront

I visited my home country to get married and came back in Canada. Now I am applying for her immigration without any further visit to her. In form 5532 (Part C, Question # 4) I mentioned that we didn't visit each other. I thought they asked that question if we visited each other after marriage. Do you think I should have answered Yes? Please give your feedback considering my situation

When you went back to your home country to get married, that alone is already visiting your spouse. On the table below question 4, outline the details of each travel/visitation

Hi. Were you able to successfully validate the form? :)
Yes I validated it on 24 June. But I'm just worried when I checked my online account it's saying replacement provided uploaded filename: IM5669. Do I need to reupload again? I checked also in ECAS they sent correspondence on 25 June but I don't received anything from them.

For everyone looking for the place to upload their Police certificate and Schedule A: login to your GC Key/MyCIC, go to "View my submitted applications or profiles", click "Check status and messages" next to your application, then click "View submitted application" at the bottom of the page. Not everyone might have this option, but if you received an email asking you to link your application, chances are you do have this option to upload your documents there.

It's a definite NO. She became your spouse after marriage. Any visits before marriage are not to consider for checking that option. If you are confused, write a detailed report and attach along with the application along with travel details.
