20 years is a long time. I'm sure you would accept NOI in a heart beat. I would too before the start of the year. Human eh! Never enough lol. Tell me one thing mate. Are you Irish by any chance?
20 long years yeah. Spent a placement year there during university in 1997 and have never stopped thinking about it. Only recently convinced my wife to make the move so here we are.

I am Irish, well Northern Irish. Another strong reason to get to Canada. I really don't want the kids growing up in Northern Ireland. Too much bigotry and sectarianism here. And let's not mention Irish weather!

Don't forget we had 5 draws in May which has never happened before. And besides, CIC is getting closer to their target for Skilled migration for the year... it's safe to either accept an noi or better Ielts score
We should consider only 3 draws in May as the remaining 2 draws were limited to PNP and FSTP and the invites sent in both the draws combined was just around 500.

Hahaha. Oh thank you so much, i miss Irish people complaining about the weather lol. BTW i lived in Dublin for 7.5 years, so how ye, lol. It is not an easy decision to move to new location with family and kids, very expensive. Few days ago i read in irishtimes a couple with 3 kids had to spend more than 20k euros to relocate to Ireland. Very very expensive affair. But now that you have convinced your minister of house, lol, go all guns blazing. Keep in touch though, you are the first Irish fella i have talk to here :)

Hmmmm so as u mentioned earlier that crs might touch 380s towards end of this year, is there still any possibility left???
Yes, I still believe it can go down to 380's or 390's range by the end of the year. If there are 3 Draws in July then scores will go down below 420 and in August below 410. After that Nominations from all provinces will already be used and therefore, we can expect a low number of new applicants above 450. This can lead to scores going down below 400 in October/November.

If there is a draw on July 5th then I expect scores to decline at least by 14 points.

The last time we had a draw after a gap of 3+ weeks before June 28th was on March 24th. After that particular draw we had 3 back to back draws on April 5, 12 and 19.

Hence, I am expecting history to repeat on July 5, 12 and 19, which are again all Wednesday's!

Guys, be ready for the CRS cut off to come spiralling down!
Just wanted to add, if the above happens (3 consecutive draws on the next 3 Wednesdays), be ready to witness the all time lowest CRS cut off on July 19th!

Good analysis, but just wanted to add that the new applicants in the range of 450-600 would still be getting added to the pool throughout the year. Once the nominations from provinces stop, the applicants above 600 would be reducing.

Also, just wanted to ask regarding the reduction of ITAs issued in the last draw to 3400, it was averaging 3700-3800 in the last 3 months. Do you think the ITAs count will be reduced going forward or we would see CIC sending around 3400 ITAs till the end of 2017.

It is my estimate that we have 16 more draws for this year and about 54,249 ITA's left (taking 40% declining rate), so we can expect the size of ITA's to be 3,391. Nevertheless, it can be lower or higher depending on CIC calculations. They will calculate it with following formula:

(Total Target for ITA's - ITA's already issued + Estimated ITA's to be declined) / No. of draws left for the year. = ITA for this draw.

Using this formula and data available I found either CIC is using only 13 draws left for the year or expecting decline rate of ITA to be 60%. In these both possibilities my answer gives 3410 for the last draw which is very much similar to actual one.

hey I feel if a draw happens next week d score could fall at least by 18-20 points
My rough calculation states the CRS cut off would fall by 17-18 points and reach 431 or 432, if the draw happens on July 5 with 3400 ITAs.

Do wait for my final prediction on July 5th.

If this happens the CRS cut off would surely go below 400 this year. This gives a lot of hope for those awaiting ITA.

Also, OINP has started sending NOIs to those below 400 in some specific streams which again means they know the federal cut off is going below 400.

OINP Total Nomination quota is getting filled very quickly but ICT Quota is only 40% filled while other NOC's have already filled or have reached 90% Quota. To assure they give maximum Nominations to ICT Candidates they have dropped the limit to fill its quota. It doesn't seem to be linked to CIC and I think they might finish their Quota at the time when CIC will drop scores below 400. Let's see what the future holds.

Hm Thanks for the info! I put all the provinces in that option, so it shouldn't be a problem.

But I agree with the thread's creator, why the hell they have Quebec as an option in the application if you can't choose it? lol.
At First I thought the same but the option is there for people who get the nomination from the Quebec (Certificat de sélection du Québec) and Quebec is not available in the EE profile creation but it will be there once you get the ITA.

Once we get an ITA, if I am not mistaken, we will have to specify where we would like to go and live. The Government of Canada does not expect us to just put All provinces and Territories. We would also have to show why we would like to move to a particular place.

Maybe someone who went through this can shed some light on this.
