I take it that you are not PR holder in Canada...so,answer is 'No'...
the amount has to be with the primary applicant or spouse (accompanying)...you will have to transfer the amount in his name & write a gift deed...gift deeds are very particular and need to be drafted by lawyers (if you aren't already aware) as a mere letter stating that you are gifting your son x amount won't do...the deed has to contain certain terminology 'out of love & affection etc' and should explicitly state that you will have no claims whatsoever he decides to do with the money..and it has to be notarised.
consult an advocate for preparing same & get it notarized as per laws prevailing in ur country

If you receive a NOI from Ontario, it will be valid for six (6) months. If you decide to pursue this immigration path, you will have fourteen (14) days (within the six months allotted under the NOI), from the date of the registration of the profile on the OINP e-Filing Portal, to submit a complete application to OINP under the HCP stream.

You're so close.
Maybe it's better to wait for a couple of draws before responding to NOI. Also, it will save CAD 1,500 application fee.

Good luck!
hey,thanks for replying. :)

Hi...just to clarify...
what do you mean by PNP gets u faster visa compared to regular ITA..

in yesterday's draw too,all who got ITA undergoes the same processes and takes equal times (except case to case delays based on background checks etc)..coming via PNP do not cut short any process steps...plz correct me if I'm wrong
---
@baka
slightly disappointed with yesterday's draw...not because of the cut off, but CICs decision to issue 3-400 ITAs lesser than preceding draws...and if there's a draw on 7th of July with 3500 ITA,with the current CRS spread, cut off is likely to stay 430+
& if they come back with another draw by 14th or 21st of July (2nd or 3rd week ) it might drop further 10-15 points..
So you may go through Ontario's website and start organising documents required for applying for their nomination & based on how things look by 15th of July,you may submit the application...
It depends on security checks and your medical history. If they both are clear and nothing complicated then the average time for PNP will be 2-3 months while direct ITA average is 4 months. However, time will vary for each case depending on documents attached and security checks.
Firstly See the above post from Bill. See the link from OINP below. I was confused earlier too

Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream: Issuance of Notifications of Interest by Targeted Occupations

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) is an economic immigration program designed to help Ontario meet its labour market and economic development priorities.

The OINP continues to improve the program’s responsiveness to labour market and economic development needs and identify more candidates with experience in some of Ontario’s priority sectors and in demand occupations. As part of that vision, the program will begin issuing targeted Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to candidates who qualify for Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities (HCP) Stream and who have work experience in specific occupations identified by the OINP.

For these occupation-specific searches only, the OINP will be lowering the required minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score below 400. To qualify, candidates will need to meet all other HCP stream eligibility criteria (see below) and have skilled work experience in one of the targeted occupations.

All applicants to the HCP Stream must meet the following criteria:

  • Work Experience: A minimum of either:
  • Education: Equivalent of a Canadian Bachelor’s degree or above;
  • Language: A minimum of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 in English or in French;
  • Settlement Funds: A minimum level of savings or income in Ontario; and
  • Intent: An intention to reside in Ontario long term.

Expecting next Draw around 420 with 3700 ITA... We have approx 5K applicants in the pool above 410.
But, 324 candidates were being added per day in that range which, if continued, would make it difficult for IRCC to flush out soon.
However, the 324 per day additions is not normal, and I strongly believe that it was a spike (temporary).
The next draw, and especially the score distribution table will clear all clouds.

Update in the OINP website, June 28, 2017: the OINP will be lowering the required minimum CRS score below 400 (for specific NOC)

OINP is working closely with CIC. Is the update date a coincidence with the 66th draw?

I need another draw. We can't really predict what is next with just a single draw after those changes and a 28-days gap.
You made my day, a big like!!
Share the historic link too, please, such that others may rejoice too!! (http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPNEW.html) I got it!
Congratulations to all whose CRSes are below 400!!
What are those specific occupations or NOC Codes??

Hi guys.... I have a question. Should the employer reference letter be dated after the date you get ITA? I am at 448... And so was quite hopeful for yesterday's draw. So initiated the process of getting the reference letter from my previous employer. Now if they issue it before next draw, could it be an issue? Please suggest..

The last time we had a draw after a gap of 3+ weeks before June 28th was on March 24th. After that particular draw we had 3 back to back draws on April 5, 12 and 19.

Hence, I am expecting history to repeat on July 5, 12 and 19, which are again all Wednesday's!

Guys, be ready for the CRS cut off to come spiralling down!

If it is your current job, the letter must not be more than 6 months old when you submit your e-APR.

Its for my previous job. I have not started the process for my current employer yet...
For previous job, get it dated after you quit that job. It is valid indefinitely. Good luck!!
