Actually, few days ago I got an email from IRCC stating my file is outside Canada. They asked me to contact them directly but never mentioned which visa office.
Donno what to do!

Did you already receive the Acknowledgement Receipt? As i remember during the time i received the AOR and before they forwarded our application in the Visa Office, the email they sent us has an attachment letter saying that they have forwarded it in the Manila Visa Office. Maybe you should try contacting the IRCC again and ask where visa office they sent your application. We enquire last week in the IRCC about our resubmission of Schedule A. It says:
"We are pleased to confirm the reception of the IMM 5669 form. We have forwarded it to the responsible office for their consideration.


Since the file is located at the Canadian visa office in Manila, we invite you to also contact them."

Try contacting the IRCC, maybe they will inform you about which Visa Office your application has been sent.

I just got my gcms notes ..in that it syas..

TEXT : CASE REVIEWED. INTERVIEW REQUIRED .
No evidence of relationship to return. Sponsor has submitted marriage certificate as proof of relationship ..As per current office protocol,notificationthat interview is required is not necessary .

what does this mean ?looks like they only got our marriage certificate ..but as a proof we sent picture, govt issued id with same address , our rent lease paper and so many things ..why they say that no proof of relation to return ..um really confused .. looks like they didnt got aanything except the certificate .. which is now leading the interview .. what should we do ? plz suggest

Medical and PC upfront

Wow yours was really quick. hoping that I could get my hubby's PPR too soon...

I thought medical upfront was not valid anymore for spousal visa. We applied last February, we waited for an email from the Immigration/Embassy that gave us the go signal to have our medical. The email includes, the medical form which will be presented at the clinic/hospital.

We supposedly submit our papers (old kit) but we couldn't make it to the deadline and he already did his Medical back in December before we knew about the new rules/ new kit. So we submitted the Medical Exam upfront rather than wasting money... They did not ask for a new one and hopefully the will never ask for re-medical.

Upfront medical done before december 2016 is valid. Surely they will not ask for another medical report.

I want to know is there any February applicant who has got DM or PPR from Turkey VO?

It has been a while (around 3 months) that we have not got any update regarding any of the items' status of our application.

They also asked us for a second police certificate after the package was received by the VO, which we uploaded the document on the CIC website.

Our application timeline is as follows:

AOR1: 3rd February,
Schedule A and police certificate request: 13th February,
Medical Request: 28th February,
SA: 1st March,
AOR2 (Turkey VO): 10 March,
Second Police certificate request: 30th March.

Is it common to not have any update for more than 3 months?

Hope all to get DM and PPR soon ;-).

ECAS on PA section:

1. We received xx application for permanent residence on February 23, 2017.
2. We started processing xx application on May 10, 2017.
3. Medical results have been received.

ECAS ON sponsor section:

1. We received your application to sponsor xx on February 23, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on March 10, 2017.
3. We started processing your application on March 9, 2017.

I uploaded schedule A on April 4th and I was worried whether my schedule A form has been attached to my document, so I sent an email to Ankara VO on April 25th.I got the following response 1 hour later.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your email.

Our office did not receive your file yet. The form Imm5669 is still outstanding

Immigration Section

So Ankara should have received my documents between 26th April-10th May.We never got the confirmation.

They also asked me to send the new background clearance on May 16th.I submitted it on May 18th.
Don't hesitate to contact them and ask if they received you file.
I know the process is so nerve-racking but stay calm and hope for the best.
