You can't actually estimate it. There are some that after the MVO received their medical result, after a month they have been already sent by MVO a PPR and have been already in the DM status. They are the lucky ones. But there are some who has to wait a little more time like 2-4months before they will have their DM's or PPR. Anyway it was just my observation. To those applicants who Got DMs for PR, may I ask how many months did you wait until you got your DMs or PPRs? Especially to at Manila VO. Thank you so much!
It will help us to estimate how long we should wait or expect at least.
In processWhat is your status in ECAS? "application received" or "In process"?
I thought medical upfront was not valid anymore for spousal visa. We applied last February, we waited for an email from the Immigration/Embassy that gave us the go signal to have our medical. The email includes, the medical form which will be presented at the clinic/hospital.Ohh okay. Just asking so that I am familiar with what situation we're gonna be at. My Hubby did his Medical Upfront. So, hopefully everything is okay... *crossing our fingers*
No country is exempt from doing the medicalsDo they ask everyone for medical test or one from specific countries are exempted?
I think they are considering the medicals done before they changed their process last December 2016. I did mine last November and we never anticipated that they will change their process so when we submitted our application last Feb., we included it anyway. When we linked our application, it was already stated there that my medicals passed.I thought medical upfront was not valid anymore for spousal visa. Yeah maybe they just haven't updated you yet. Mine is already in Manila VO and my ECAS just changed to In Process lately. How about yours?I did the same thing and same thing happen to me when I liked it.
we're still in Mississauga right now though.. I was told a couple weeks ago that they had started out eligibility check so I'm hoping they started it way before then and just haven't updated me..
no news is good news, right?

Oh okay. I thought you just had your medicals this year. Hehehe sorry.I think they are considering the medicals done before they changed their process last December 2016. Don't worry. Maybe you'll get a medical request e-mail this week. Just be positive.thanks cookie1234!
The reason I asked about exemption is that I haven't being asked to get the medical test done yet whereas I see many others with similar timeline has already submitted and passed the test.
Kinda worried now!
