I filled only the mandatory fields, but still can't find the application online. How long does it take for a paper application to be visible online?

typically it is visible with in 48 hours of submission. It may take more time depending on the delay during transit time.

Medical request : 12th June
Medical done :- 13th June
Medical passed : 21st June
Waiting for passport request. Generally they ask for passport same day as Medical passed. But, not in my case. Don't know how long is the wait.

Can you guide me how to apply open work permit for my spouse, and How to link my application to my wife applicaiton? Below is my case

I submitted my application for obtaining Visa in April 2017. My status at that time is Single. Until 11 May 2017, I received Visa. However I got married at the end of May 2017.

her husband lives outside canada therefore they will be applying for an outland sponsorship. to be eligible for OWP, your spouse should be living with you in canada in the same address with a valid immigration status AND you must apply PR sponsorship from inside canada. it's called applying under spouse or common-law partner in Canada class (SCLPC) they started this pilot program way before 2016, i think 2014-ish.

I am waiting for my PR and want to marry my fiance after it to sponsor her at an outland sponsorship. what if I apply for OWP befor sponsorship?
I mean did I get this link right, that she can have a OWP since i have not applied for sponsorship yet?

LINKING PAPER APPLICATON TO MYCIC

Hey all,
My wife submitted paper application on June 20, 2017 from VSF Delhi.
I tried to link her application on MyCIC, but the application cannot be found. When I check the status of the application on VSF website, it says: "...is being processed at the Canada Visa Office."

Does anyone know how long it takes for a paper based application to be visible online?

as i said, applying for outland sponsorship will not make your fiance eligible for owp. unless you are, for example, an international student or a worker with a certain noc code employment, she can apply for sowp. she should be here in canada at least on a visitor visa living with you when you apply for inland spousal sponsorship. and you can't apply for owp before you apply pr inland sponsorship for her. as soon as you get married, declare her you wife so you can sponsor her. if not, you will be misrepresenting and you can't sponsor her to come to canada.

she can apply for sowp depending on your status though. i'm just pointing out that you can't go through the outland sponsorship route. we are in the spouse open work permit thread, maybe someone can help you if you explain more about your status here. idon't know much about sowp. sorry.

I totally understand you but but from that link from CIC, I understand that I can apply a OWP for her, and after she enters canada apply as inland sponsorship. I wanted to know if my understanding from the link is correct. I asked it here because I did not found another more related thread in forums.

what noc code is your employment? i'm actually not sure. try to answer the eligiblity questionnaire to have an idea.

click the answer a few questions in the link you provided. keep in mind you're not married yet so it might come out she is not eligible.

if you don't mind paying the 255 then by all means, go ahead..
