My student visa is expiring on August of 28th in 2018.

You have enough time! You should apply for SOWP as soon as possible. Get the ATIP (GIC) notes from CIC and make sure you address the reasons for rejection.

is there any chance that they had made a mistake because i did not get a refusal letter? but online it shows refused.

I have seen lost of cases in this forums where CIC has made mistakes.

i have a questions, if the case is reverse, i mean applicant doesnot receive an email but status changed to refused and no refusal letter is issued and no new message , its been 15 days.

I won't be able to give you a precise answer, I think there are seniors here who are more experienced. One thing I would definately so is call CIC.

It may take up to 48 hrs to get you an application no. Its normal and nothing to worry.

Call for interview :- 5th June 2017
Interviewed on : 12th June
Medical request : 12th June
Medical done :- 13th June
Medical passed : 21st June
Waiting for passport request. Generally they ask for passport same day as Medical passed. But, not in my case. Don't know how long is the wait.

Application: 21st March
No updates so far.
Processing time is updated to 15 weeks now (earlier it was 11 weeks).

My husband has NOC B job and he is AINP nominated and he includes my name in it.we applied PNP PR and we got AOR and waiting for medicals now.He just got his BOWP till June 2018.
My question is do I get my work permit approved ?
My first rejection is my husband has arrest warrant but he don't have any.this time we attached police clearance

Congrats! Dont' worry. I got my PPR a couple of days after my Med got passed
