I filed for a PR under CIC and was successfully nominated by Ontario under PNP which I have accepted.
Post that I received my ITA for which I filed my application in Dec, 2016. Now I have received a letter from the Visa Officer stating the following :
"I am now completing the assessment of your application for a permanent resident visa. It appears that you may not meet the requirements for immigration to Canada.
You have not met the following condition:
Provided sufficient evidence to support your employment with <XYZ>. As a result I am not satisfied that you worked for this employer and more specifically preformed a majority of the main duties under National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2171Information Systems Analyst and Consultants.
Before I make a final decision, you may submit additional information relating to this issue.
You have 30 days from the date of this letter to submit additional information to me via your MyCIC account."
I had submitted an electronically generated reference letter on company letterhead which had the following information listed :
Date of Joining, Latest Designation, work hours per week.
Roles and responsibilities mentioned were :
1. Key Member of the Mobilization Team and Client Application Readiness Team; responsible for liaising with the client to identify and document delivery requirements.
2. Take knowledge transfers and conduct training to upgrade team skill-set as per project requirements.
3. Provide advice on information systems and service delivery best practices and prepare the checklist.
4. Review and assess client requirements and raise physical and technical security risks throughout the project lifecycle. Discuss with stakeholders and document solutions in Risk Tracker.
5. Develop, integrate and implemet desktop transformation business solutions using different technical tools and skills. Use ITIL best practices to deliver semaless IT service solutions.
6. Lead the Peer Review and UAT support teams - responsible for quality assurance of the solution delivered and support clients in conducting UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
7. Supervise day to day activities of associate engineers to deliver solutions as per deadlines and delivery schedules and assist in delivery of complex applications. Implement policies and procedures throughout the software development lifecycle to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of team and overall quality of software products.
8. Create daily and weekly reports to share with client and senior management to measure the productivity of resources as per agreed timelines and overall quality of software products.
9. Identify workflow and system improvements and work with team to develop and implement automation solutions using Dot Net, VBScript, JScript and PowerShell.
I had been employed with the same company for 5 years till 4th May, 2016 and I joined the current company on 6th May 2016. Since I was claiming points for only the first employer I had submitted reference letter for the same and to support current employment an offer letter.
I have no clue what went wrong and how to go about it.
I submitted the above roles at the NOC site and they have confirmed in email that my role falls under NOC code 2171.
What I am thinking now is to create a new reference letter detailing roles and responsibilities for each designation i served in those 5 years and ask my supervisor in the previous company to send an email to me from her official email id, since we cannot get it on a company letter head. The company provides the same electronically generated letter that i previously submitted. I will take a printout of the email and get it attested from the same supervisor and then get it notarized. I will also attach the copy of company issued photo ID card of the supervisor.
Please guide me how to go about it and should I mention the same roles and responsibilities as listed above or can I redefine them again.
