As per my understanding 73k PRs are target which includes dependents & what I read in May was that 32k ITAs were sent till April. Add ~8k for May. Assuming 1.5 applicant per ITA, 60k are invited till now. CIC is heavily burdened with applications submitted so far. I understand this is ray of hope thread. But we must accept that CIC may slow down now or later this year. Even I'm worried that if my application gets rejected for some reason, it might be difficult to get ITA again.I honestly do not know why all y'all are applying for the OINP. Unless you received your Expression of Interest letter at least 4 months ago, what's the point on paying 1500 CAD, not to mention all additional translations and documental charges, to STILL depend on a draw? Afaik, Canada has a goal of approx. 73k ITAs this year, and so far about 30k have been handed out. Unless you have really low scores, I don't see the point. The EOI is valid for 6 months, and it takes time to process, so you might end up tossing 1500 CAD in the trash.
I wish best for you all. & I do understand desperation you all are feeling. I don't want to spread pessimism, however if there is alternate available; hold it.
