Any rejections in IP2 / BG2 stage?

Hello All,

My AOR is 26 March 2017 and my Background check status changed 2nd time on 19th june.

I have seen people getting PPR same day as IP2/BG2 or may be in next 2 to 3 days or a week.

Does anyone know of a case where the rejection happened at this stage and what was the reason.

Also what are checks going on at this stage as I am getting anxious and want to resign in my company asap.

Feel free to ask me anything about the process till this stage and I would be happy to help.

I did not go through a consultant and did file the application on my own and I feel thats the best way.

I would not advice quitting till you get your PPR stamped. I have heard cases where things have gone wrong. Just my opinion.

Okay.. but i think PPR email is sufficient to resign then and not wait till stamping.

I went into IP2 the same day as you also. Still waiting for PPR, checking my email every 5 mins lol.
In regards to what checks are happening at this stage, I was told that your initial checks have passed and now its criminality, jobs etc.

I know how you feel, don't quit just yet, hopefully we both get it today. prayers and fingers crossed!

I'm also went IP2 on 19th.
Want to know if they move our file to Local VO. If so, how much additional time would have to wait?

How did you know whats checks going on at IP2.?

Did you email or call CIC?

Good luck! - I mean since we went into IP2 on Friday (not counting the weekend) its been 3 days. I really hope we both get it today or at least tomorrow. I was just saying to myself that it would be HUGE weight off my shoulders, especially since we are both in the same job situation too! lol

Any idea how long COPR takes to come, once you have sent the relevant docs in?

All this day/week counting is driving me crazy, but I can't help it!

My BG status changed to IP2 on the same day too. Still waiting anxiously for PPR.

These days it is taking 5-7 business days for PPR email after ip2.
