Even I am wondering about this as well. My current passport will be expiring in July 2018 so I will be getting a new passport. Could we get the PPR stamped on the old passport and simultaneously carry the new passport when landing? Or, should we need to inform IRCC about this?

I have the same timeline as you to the exact date...still waiting for PPR as well. Keep us posted if you hear anything back.

I would not advice quitting till you get your PPR stamped. I have heard cases where things have gone wrong. Just my opinion.

I have the same message as yours... I sent in a technical issue report but haven't heard anything back yet.
