I am a Canadian citizen who recently returned from the UK, while I was there I became pregnant. My husband will be coming to Canada on a visitor soon to apply for our spouse visa. We will be sending in our application hopefully a month before my due date. I plan to send in my pregnancy documents with the application, but I'm wondering if after I give birth do I have to write them a letter to notify them?

Yes, but it's quite simple as the baby will already be Canadian so no need to list them as a dependent or do medicals.
After the birth you would just fill in a new Additional Family Information form along with simple explanation, and send that in (or just upload it if acceptable).

Is there a time frame that I'll have to send this in? Or is as soon as I possibly can fine?

It really doesn't matter, as the baby would have pretty much zero impact to the PR app. So I wouldn't go out of your way to immediately submit it, but whenever you get around to it (I would say within a few weeks after delivery).

Easy peasy! Thanks!

I have another question concerning the baby. if I'm pregnant but haven't given birth, should we put yes or no for the question asking if we have a child?

My wife was pregnant when we submitted my application.
I contacted ircc after our child birth. They asked that I upload the birth certificate through the case specific enquiry link.

Should I contact them via email or something before I send any documents so I know specifically what they want?

I called the call centre 1-888-242-2100, that's when they told me what to send and how to send it.

I believe they sent me an email with the instructions.
