Immigration Interview Tomorrow, Any Advice?

Me and my common law wife got an event scheduled for an interview tomorrow in Etobicoke in relation to our PR application under CEC.

Just wondering if anyone had any advice or anything we should be prepared for, or what these interviews typically mean, if anything at all. I.E. should we be worried.

Thanks!

Well, it's too late to recommend applying for your GCMS notes.

It is not possible to say. Sometimes they are just done randomly for quality control purposes. Sometimes there are actual questions. Given that your partner has also been asked to attend, they may just want reassurance that your relationship is a bona fide CL relationship. You probably know if there are any other "questionable" details in your application.

Hey.
Yeah so it was just the procedure for CL relationships, for them to complete the eligibility part of the process. It all went well, and the lady was very nice.
Hopefully there wasn't some flag that she saw and couldn't talk about, but as far as we know, there's nothing wrong with our application. So here's hoping!

She says that she'll complete her assessment of the eligibility within the next couple of days, so we should be able to see something on the profile soon.

Cheers!

What is the latest update on this case? I received similar email, is there anything I need to worry about?

It was totally fine. She just asked basic questions, most of them you would have already answered in your application. It felt more like a formality to make sure that you are who you said you are. If you have nothing to hide, then you have nothing to worry about.

We just got our final interview booked for next week. The letter said that it's the final interview and to bring things like our passports, SIN cards, and also photos for our PR card. But the letter was worded pretty vague, and did not explicitly say that we got accepted or not.

Timeline AOR - July 4, Medical Aug 22, BG changed - Sep 15, Interview at Etobicoke - Oct 5. CEC Inland.
Our case was selected for quality checks, the interview went for 15-20 minutes and we produced all our original documents and submitted photo copies to the officer.
