What is the validity of the medical checkup? 12 months? Does this mean that from the day of your medical check you should have your PR approved within a span of 12 months?

You should land within 12 months...if visa couldn't be issued before that, they'll ask you to do medicals again...

Hi all...
I have updated my higher secondary and high school education details as well in education though I have ECA only for Masters and Bachelors.

now I understand from the forum that those academics are not required to be included in EE profile and are required only in eAPR.

Is it okay to leave it like that or should I delete those academic qualifications (high school & higher secondary)...is it going to be an issue...I don't want to do anything at the moment as it might exclude me from the today's draw
all senior members opinion welcomed with eagerness and would be highly appreciated and will be rewarded with beers on Yukon party:p

Thank you for your response. I am asking this for my distant relative. His age is 40 and just has bachelor degree, chances of him scoring clb9+ in all modules is almost nill so highscore will be 350-380 given his spouse also has bachelor degree and not too strong in english. In this case OINP is out of the option, do you know if any other province is giving out nominations to ee candidates. He is into sales and marketing with over 2 decades of experience.
Why don't you file an expression of interest for Prince Edward Island. Its free of cost and open now. Best of luck.

I am visiting Hyderabad (India) in a few days and thought that I could get my eMedicals done there. I have not received ITA yet, so is it OK to get my medicals done at this stage? Do I need to receive an ITA before I do my medicals? Or, does the physician ask for any UCI number, etc. to upload into their eMedical portal?

Any experience in this regard may kindly be shared, please!!
Hey Im a Hyderabadi here :) So you are coming here on a work related visit or just for medicals?

What is there not to understand? Draw happened on 31st and then CIC displayed distribution of candidates which was dated 26th. They are showing numbers in distribuition from week before, it doesn't mean it was displayed on 26th.
Your reply was clearer than mine :)

Hello Everyone,

I have been following this forum for quite some time. And I really appreciate folks out here for keeping the moral high.

I am in dilemma and was hoping I would get help here. With my latest IELTS results my CRS score would be 438. However, If I chose to include my wife in the application my score drops to 412. At the first sight, not including my wife as co-applicant seems to be the wise thing to do but the waiting period (12 to 18 months)for sponsored spouse Visa is giving me nightmares. Please advice the best case scenario for me.

Thanks in advance!!

My case is slightly different from yours. Currently I am waiting for my ECA and aims to apply as a single applicant. But there is a good chance that I will be getting married after filing of my e-APR.

My concern here is as a single applicant my CRS score is 408 and if I wait till my marriage and apply with my spouse then my score drops to 384. So after doing some tenuous research I have made up my mind that I will be applying as a single applicant and after filing e-APR I will get married and inform CIC regarding the chances. If I do so then I have 2 main concerns:

· If I marry after filing e-APR and inform CIC about the changes, will they consider 408 or 384?

· If they consider the previous information submitted at the time of ITA & e-APR (408 score) then will I be able to process my spouse case along with mine?

Really confused on these above mentioned queries.

Fahad

Just have one question
My current IELTS is going to expire on 11 July 2017
I have already got my results for new IELTS test which was on 3rd june 2017 (R-8, L-8.5, S-8, W-6.5)
I am planning to apply for revaluation
So my question is while revaluation process will go on, can I use my scores in my EE profile?

I don't think you can use as below is clearly mentioned on the reval form

"This whole trial takes around six to eight weeks during which you cannot use your original test report to apply for a university or be sent to immigration office."

Dear all,

I have a question. My wife is already in Canada on her study visa. Kindly suggest me if i should mention that my spouse will be accompanying me when applying for Express Entry? will this make my process more complicated ?

I guess, it will be beneficial instead cause you will get additional points as your spouse is living in Canada.
