i can see many of us has more bands then required in ILETS writing module, how i wish i can borrow .5 from someone who has 7.5 in writing

While creating express entry profile I entered a wrong NOC code and also I have got NOI and have created one key account.....can I change the NOC code now in the express entry profile??

Hello, I have just uploaded my EE profile and waiting for the next draw @ 428 CRS.
My residence is in Dubai and all my work experience is from Dubai, I will be going to Toronto next month on a visitor visa, hopefully after AOR. I intend to stay there during the entire process of my application and will apply for extension of my visit visa if need be.

My query is that though being a UAE resident, can I continue my application being in Canada. In an unlikely state, If I am called for interview, will I have to come back to Abu Dhabi or can it be done in Canada itself.

If you are called for an interview yes, i m afraid so. But it depends on your local visa office. Once you submit, you can ask CIC via email, which is your local visa office ??

I guess it should be alright ....as long as you don't accept the NOI...because accepting it will be 'mis representation as the NOI is on the basis of the NOC.

the impact would be that you'll not be considered for an NOI as the province would treat you as probably not interested.
another way would be is to create a new profile after deleting the existing one...
that way,you'll still be looked up and sent NOI by the same or any other province if you are eligible...(I've read in the NOI that if someone decides not to respond /decline an NOI he might not be considered for a nomination by other provinces as well...(but I may have misunderstood the message -the last part)
---so either you may update ur existing EE profile or create new one,but you can't proceed with the same or accept the NOI.

by the way haven't you got NOI from Ontario...?
I got yesterday...why don't you try to recreate your profile and secure one...now better do immediately after the next draw, before Friday (if you wish..)

If you receive NOI from Ontario then you have very much chance of getting Nomination within 2 Weeks.

it is even more hurting me that why am i not getting NOI, i have re-created once but now due to new tie breaker rules i am confuse shall i take risk of recreating it and to give up my seniority in the pool or not, i heard many with 401, 402, 403 have got NOI but me,, anyways thanks for your help, truly appreciate from bottom of my heart

So while we are waiting, I just registered now and have 409 and will get another 20 if my wife does her IELTS.

Do you think it's worth her doing that or are we relatively sure it'll drop below 409 in the near future?

Also her secondary education isn't giving me 2 points like I expected. Should completing high school give any points or did I misunderstand that part?

if you can afford $240 for another IELTS, I would recommend you taking it. This way you will have some control over the outcome rather than being in destiny's hands.
