For Example i am a Canadian citizen sponsoring my wife from Ethiopia. I sent my application to mississauga ON but where at last the application will be sent to is Ethiopia or Kenya i am not sure. So what is the visa office Mississauga or Ethiopia?

May I know why your application was sent back?

the letter they attached highlighted copy of valid passports and pictures. However copy of passport was included for PA but not dependent so I attached a copy of passport for dependent and wrote on check list pictures are included in small brown envelope and resent it.

I think thos schd A and PCC upload is ridiculous. It should just be included in application package. its a waste of tome for agent to send correspondance to request it ans for applicants to struggle to upload ot just causing delays.

I felt others fustration and sent mine in with application which eliminates that stress since its already shows uploaded by the time I linked my account.

I guess since receiving AOR June and Schld A n PCC sent upfront I will wait on medical request...

Okay so here what I did today I called CIC for the 3rd time in this week to know about my application. The agent told me that Mississauga CPC is currently working on May 12th application. My application was received on May 11th as per canada post. The agent was nice he created a ticket and send a message to Mississauga office to ask someone to look into my application why its not updated yet. Hopefully I should hear back by Monday or Tuesday.

I have almost close timelines same as you...I got SA on 8th Jun but I didn't got link for schedule A yet, while 5 business days is passed!

have you already checked your ECA?, because I don't receive it also in my email and in my account... I've just seen it through my ecas that they requested for it..

For those wondering heres my story.

I went to Jamaica to see husband PA and we double and triple checked our package to ensure all forms were signed and requested items were attached. sort package by section with dividers and paper clips.

Package was mailed April 10 and confirmation of delivery was receives by purolator 9am the text was received from CIC 10pm April 11.

after waiting patientky I called everyday in May and Finally on May 16th I was told packaged was returned May 12th and on May 18 it showed up im mail.

the check list was highlighed showing missing copy of valid Passport and 2 current picture both were in fact included in package of PA so I inserted copy of passport for dependent and wrote on check list that pictures are in brown envelop. This time I left the package the same way they returned it to me. no dividers no paper clips and all pages on rhe order they returned it and went to purolator and resent it the same day.

Once again the very next day May 19 confirmation was received from purolator 9am and text from cic 10am thay package was received.

On June 15th I received AOR Email from CIC and linkes application the same day. I tried to view application on ECAS bit it did not show until June 16 1 line satus Application Received May 19.

While reading forum I notice a lot of applicants were having difficulties witj Schld A and PCC upload so I included mi e with package and status on GCkey shows they have been receive now im waiting on next request which I assume will be Medical.

I think you just have to wait until they request it from you. Just make it ready anytime..

I think It was resiculous my application was return for missing "Valid passport" even those the check list said...

Note: Although you do not need to have a valid passport or travel document when you submit your application, you must have a valid travel
document or passport to be able to travel to Canada and to be admitted for permanent residence.

Hey Sammy143 our application was also received on 23 May. Which visa office did you apply to? Ours is Mississauga. I guess their timeframe for AOR1 is around 30 working days on average.
