Applicant: London, UK ( Husband)
Both currently living in London UK, have sent our application to Mississauga, Ontario

Application Sent: April 12th 2017

Application Received: April 24th 2017

Email Confirmation of Application to Sponsor: May 26th 2017

Email to Link Application to Account: May 26th 2017

Linked Application to Account: May 27th 2017

Approval to Sponsor: May 30th 2017

Medical Request received: May 30th 2017

Police and Schedule A Request Received: June 2nd 2017

Police and Schedule A Submission: June 12th 2017

Medical Exam: June 13th 2017


Now just waiting to here back from them!!

Okay so i havent been on here a while, since i been away, I have finally Landed in BC Canada, - the flight was delayed at London Gatwick for 8 hours, so of course it was very late when I arrived... however the process was quite quick through security. was asked lots of questions around my goods to follow, but i followed the whole process so they were just confirming what i had stated in my forms.

SO have been here just over a week now, and had sorted out my SIN number, driving licence and bank account all by done by day 3!!!!

Now just relaxing and taking it all in before looking for work!

We 'landed to declare PR' back in April, but are now back and stuck in the UK until we can sell the house. Can't wait for the final move!

We are in Ottawa and we had the medical/x rays/bldwrk all done at one place and within two weeks our ecas said medical received

I suggest you might do better to post this as a new thread altogether. It is pretty rare for UK PA's to require interviews. It is however, not at all uncommon for UK PA's to enter Canada while their outland application is in process, this is referred to as 'Dual Intent' - so provided you can demonstrate strong ties remaining with the UK (house, rental, return tickets etc.) and are not allowed to work in Canada, then you can often stay as a visitor for 6 months.

Could be they are awaiting a Birth Certificate. My wife was born in Pakistan and says she does not have a Birth Certificate. She does have a Nadra card (and a NICOP card).

How would we go about confirming with Nadra that no birth certificate is available, or how to get one while I we are in the UK?

irth certificate is a must thing it's an important document you have to get it to complete your file for process
