Request for Meds today. It pays to dig into these things! Congratulations. Spreadsheet updated.
Thanks. Spreadsheet updated.Request for Meds today.
Appt. made in a few days time.
Seems like CPC Miss. is doing the work. But great that our application is where it should be.
Yeah I don't know if it is worthwhile using myCIC - I'm not. I'm just using the enquiry forms to upload any documents they ask for. Perhaps a pain because I have to re-renter all the info. but I read so many stories of how buggy myCIC is.Anyone else had a request for documents. Uploaded them and had there status change to "waiting for review"
Then with the system issues have there status change back to require additional documents?
It's never changed back and I never received another message for extra stuff. I uploaded my docs a while ago.
I just feel that cic doesn't know the documents are uploaded and they still think I'm missing documents when really they are uploaded ready to be reviewed.
IMHO, you are over-thinking this. This looks to me like a perfectly normal 'we've got what we need for now and are scratching our *rse as usual'.Hi,
was just wondering if people are able to give me a bit of insight from the current status of my ECA's. Details are on the spreadsheet and application was submitted January 4th.
ECA as follows:
Application status: We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results: You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents: We do not need additional documents.
Interview: You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics: We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.
I guess what I'm wondering mainly is, since additional documents doesn't have the sentence "We will send you a message if this changes" after the first sentence. They must have everything they need? It used to say Not applicable and changed around the time they brought in the Biometrics section. Application status used to say "We received your application" instead of "We are processing your application." So I guess that's a good sign?
I would say that one month is plenty. Don't bother trying to call, IF you get through you will speak to a general purpose call centre who know very little and will probably just give you duff information at best. I would raise a case specific enquiry here:HI all,
we haven't received my husbands CoPR in the mail yet and its been about a month that our status changed to 'decision made.' Our processing office is in Ottawa. I notice that most people get their letter within two weeks ish. is there any way if we can call to find out if its been sent or are we just going to have to sit here and wonder?
Many thanks
