I applied for my SP extension on April 18th, still waiting from CIC for updates.
I would appreciate if anyone who applied on April can share their application status, so that we all are on the same page.

One up date in gc key after one month.
There is no up date in your application.

Hi Just, one question, regarding the study permit extension?

In the form 5709E, what should we fill in the duration of the expected study? I have heard different opinions, some say we should write the exact date as it is on the LOA, however, some say we should write 90 days extra from the date on LOA, some even say regardless of what we put the visa officer will give 90 days plus the last date of expected study

I normally put duration up until my graduation date.
The extra 90 days is normally given regardless, but they are not necessarily the duration of your expected study.

This is weird!
I would expect them to have started April applications by now.

Time frame :

Applied online 4th of April, 2017.

Got my acceptance on 13th of June, 2017.

Note that I haven't received an Email yet ! But going on my CIC I found that it was approved and I already received the new SP and Coop work permit via Mail on the same day.
