I am very distraught! Eariler today I received an email from CIC which states that I am no longer eligible for express entry. I have been in the pool since January of this year. The only change I have made to my profile was to remove my spouse's work experience since I wouldn't get any points for it!! Any suggestions please!!

In making changes to your profile, I am sure there much have been changes to adaptability or some other issue which would have made you ineligible. Nothing to worry about, just go ahead and make a new profile. The next ITAs are around the corner. This time, make sure that you cross check everything.

I had removed my spouse's work experience in Canada since I wasn't getting any points for it. Could that be the reason?

Hello LegalFalcon. My question is concerning POF.
1. A family member who is applying as the principal applicant was wondering if she needs a deed of gift from an unaccompanying spouse if they have a joint account.
2. If she needs a gift of deed from her spouse, which other documents would she need to submit? (Joint Account)
3. If she doesnt use the joint account but her personal account and he transfers the money into account. Would he need to declare his assets along with the deed of gift and bank statement? What other document would she need to submit?

If the spouse if un-accompanying, then the gift deed is required even if is a joint account.

2. If she needs a gift of deed from her spouse, which other documents would she need to submit? (Joint Account)
Justa gift deed, and the letter from the financial institution as mandated by IRCC.
Document requirements

• The applicant should provide an official letter(s) from one or more financial institutions that lists all current bank and investment accounts as well as outstanding debts, such as credit card debts and loans.
  • o The letter(s) must be printed on the letterhead of the financial institution and must include the applicant’s name, the contact information of the financial institution (address, telephone number and email address), the account numbers, the date each account was opened and the current balance of each account as well as the average balance for the past six months.

If the funds are in the bank account of the primary applicant, there is no need for gift deed as long as the 6 months balance requirement is met and the above information is met as required by IRCC.

Hope you are having a nice weekend. I would like to ask you a question that has been bothering me for a while. I tried to consult other forum members but have been getting mixed advises.

I created my EE profile exactly a month ago. Now i want to re-create my profile to catch the attention of Ontario. During the initial creation of the profile, in the section, "Has XXXX has applied to Canada before or got his visa rejected to any other country", i have selected No.

Now the area of my concern is during the second half of 2014 i sent application for PR couple of times to CPC office in Sydney, NS. However, on both occasions they were returned meaning they were not processed, no fee deducted and no UCI no was provided in the cover letter they sent me on both occasion.

Now if i select YES, the system asks for UCI no, if i select No, which i have done, i am not sure if i have actually applied or not. Please help me out. Thanks a million.

He has master degree + one year of cont work exp in noc with skill level A. His worry is his very low package (INR 1.5 lakhs/year). So ques s, is dr any req on min wages to qualify under fswo stream? Can officer reject his file looking at the qualification vs wages?

I am an inland FSW applicant. Both my spouse and I currently working for well-known government funded/related companies. However we don't have LMIA so we are not claiming points for those jobs. I am planning to add our offer letters/contracts as a proof of funds with all other required proof of funds documents. I believe and moreover hope that having those contracts would have a positive effect on our application. My question(s) are;

Do you think that would have positive effect on our application?
Is proof of funds best area to share the contracts or should I add them under another section?

The answer to the question will be "NO." An application is said to be filed when it is acknowledged as accepted and a UCI issued to you. Since CPC returned your files before, without ever processing it, the application was never filed in the first place.

There is no requirement of minimum wage for express entry as long as the work experience was full time and paid.

If you are a FSW, and you are not claiming points for the job, you need not show it in your work history, just your personal history, which will be sufficient. The express entry system is a point based system, you meet the minimum points, you are in. This is how it works. Sending more documents, is your person choice, but it does not impact your application in any way.

Ordering GCMS now, won't make sense as its too early. Wait for the at least 45 days post AoR and then order. Send the document by CSE and also enquire if they received the document a few days later.
