Nov 25 2015 applicant called CIC today, was told background still in process. I wonder if the agent just login in Mycic, and tell me my status, or there is another system which the CIC agent can access ,dig more info for me.

why some applicant were told in final review ,and lots of useful info ?

Nov 16 2015 applicant here. I contacted local MP office, they helped me check with CIC. And here is the reply.

We have received confirmation from IRCC that your PR application is complete and all assessments have passed. The application has been in the queue for final review since April 18, 2017.



There is no estimated timeline for applications pending final review; however, if you do not receive any correspondence from IRCC by July 24, please contact our office and we will follow up with IRCC at that time.

BG still not applicable...
Document request on 8th September 2016 and they received it in October 2016.
Medical Upfront passed on 5th April 2017. (Medical Issued in Dec 2016 as per the doctor, but never got the MR (Really Strange)).
We met the local MP on 6th June 2017 let's see if he can do something., for now nothing...
My Lawyer/Representative suggested us to go to talk to the MP, because he said that the immigration is not replying to his e-mail and he can't do much.
My mother is the main applicant, 3 Dependents (Me, Sister, Father).
We are all Italian Citizen since 2010.(eTA Eligible Country) , Previously we had Indian citizenship.

Are they still reviewing your eligibility? this is crazy. Medical is only requested if you are eligible.SO technically this is passed. One of my friend in india has same timeline as yours and same status.

We did Upfront Medical at the end March,We we went to the doctor he said the medical was issued in December... but we never got the Medical request. I asked about it to my representative and he sent an email to CIC to ask why we didn't get the MR, they replied saying that they received the medical. That's it...

I ordered a gcms on May 2 ,didnt get it yet, but received a email from atip “UPDATED MAY 31, 2017: Due to exceptional circumstances, we are currently experiencing difficulty meeting our service standards. Please accept our apologies for the delay, and rest assured that we are taking steps to address the situation.”

Now even GCMS is delayed too! U guys applied GCMS recently?
