My wife's sponsorship application has been sent to New Dalhi a year ago its in process. 10 months ago i was in kabul jan visited my wife she got pregnant. 2 days ago my son was born in kabul.

Can someone help me what documents should i prepare what i need to do?

You will need to send a copy of birth certificate from there and also register you son here. Let them know when he was born, where and his full name.
I would also send it via email as well.

Our background check took 5 months after background check they will ask for police check and updated sechedule A and this is where we are now. Will keep everyone updated.

Hi, Can I ask when did they ask you for updated schedule A and how long after Background check in process?? They asked me last week for a new Schedule A.
And did you get DM yet?

Hi I got schedule a and new police clearance request about 5 months after background check. It has been 2 weeks since I sent in our schedule a and clearance and have not heard anything yet. Mp told me to wait another month.....mp said once they ask for schedule a the file is being finalized if your medical and police clearance is still valid.

Great. I hope you get the PPR soon then. My husband's interview was 2 weeks ago. then they asked for the updated supplementary form (not schedule A).But I think it is a good sign. His medical expires May 25th. I hope to hear something by that time.

When does his police clearance expire? If that is expired they will ask for that as well. Hopefully not and you get ppr before medical is expired.

This waiting game is stressful

His police clearance expires the same day. maybe 1 or 2 days different.

Use this method. I did it this way:
For me just worked in this manner (link the paper application with Gckey account in my cic)

Choose
1. Permanent Residence
2. Quebec Selected Skilled Workers
3. Choose Application number and name
4. Fill birthady
5. Do not fill place of birth (hit space only once)
6. Choose your country
7. Do not fill passaport numbers
8. Select Quebec and the city you have written in your Certificate of Quebec
9. Select correctly the number of family members including you as principal applciant.

ignore the Quebec if doesn't apply.

Continue to GCKey. After you create your account, link your PR application to the account. (If you do not have a representative (lawyer), you will be able to link your application to your account)

1. Log in with GC Key account.
2. Permanent Residence > Family Class (Spouses)
2. Application Number and Family Name - Copy/pasted application number from email (including the F) and entered PA's last name.
3. City of Birth - I entered 1 space (hit spacebar once)
4. Country of Birth - Selected PA's country of birth
5. Passport Info - Did not enter any passport info
6. Other Application Info - Filled out the other application info as per our application and put '2' as the number of members in the application (Assuming 1 PA, 1 Sponsor, 0 dependents)

Could you tell me what's schedule A? My hasband has been asked to submitt police clearance again from Pakistan while we had submitted before with upfront application and he doesnt live in pak anymore He is in Afghanistan now.
We submitted the scan of old one to Delhi visa office through email But we didnt hear anything since then.

schedule a form is ur background info since, school and work and all of that information. when did u apply whats ur timeline? when were u asked for that form

we submitted our application on 17 - Aug 2016 they opened file sep 20 2016 and it was sent to Delhi on 26 sep 2016
After that we got a request to submitt police clearance on 29 march 2017. We had submitted before with application. But we sent and Submitted again the scan through email on march 30 2017 since then no updates? We dont know whats happening with our application status. We are so much depressed i can not link my application because i have représentative. I asked my représentative ( lawyer) to do enquiry but he says we have submitted everything correct with time manner you need be patient. But its been 10 months since we have submitted our application no progress yet we are worried about it.
How can i get help to link my application?

you have to remove ur lawyer to link app- order gcm notes to find out what the status of ur file is- i am nov 2015 applicant still waiting for ppr - just be patient it will happen soon
