Help!!! I called IRCC today and got the automated message and it said we need additional documents and that we send you a message but we never got an e-mail. What should we do? I cannot get through to a live agent.

Just sent a CSE to inform IRCC.

Call (not email) Salma's office. Tell them you heard this message, and that you didn't get an email from them. Do not pass go....

EDIT: Also tell them that you cannot seem to reach anyone at CIC...

After seeing Decision Made and calling CIC to confirm, I was on hold for significant amount of time while the representative looked into my file, and says that although it says that, a decision has not been made but that my application is in the last few steps, and so for the next 2 months I will hear from them if they need anything. AHhhhhhh!

It also says "We need additional documents to process your application. Check your messages below for details." So it seems to be a problem in the system, as, as you know, she landed already! Chamomile tea to calm your stress !

Thanks, profiler. After receiving SA the other day, I thought it was a little fast! It will stink if a lot of folks got the erroneous Decision Made status, though.

Today I checked status online, and surprisingly found both the sponsor and applicant status have been "decision made", but no more details provided, nor have I received any email or letter. Concerned that maybe it is a decision of REJECTION made?

No. You'd know long before a rejection. They would send a "Procedural Fairness" letter, or request for more proof, or an interview, etc. That's a good sign, if you didn't receive any of those -- that's a positive decision...

It's not an erroneous or spurious DM. That's not fast at all. Some went from AOR -> DM in an afternoon... That's a positive result .

Good Morning!

I sponsored my commonlaw wife on July 22, 2016. ECAS shows no update for Sponsor and Applicant side. But when I checked the GC key site, it says

"We have requested a medical exam. Check your messages below for details."

But there are no details below, so I'm thinking that I should wait and maybe the request will come later today.

My question is, Should we still do the medical exam or call CIC? because we have already submitted upfront medical when we submitted our documents. But the medical was done April 2016. So it is already expired considering its only valid for a year right?

We are really overwhelmed, our application is now moving!

Sounds like the medical is expired and they want a new one. They need to send you the form, as you can no longer submit to medicals without it. I would contact them and ask for the IMM 1017.

Yeah I am not disputing it. But she needs to call Salma anyways to get the MP to speed CIC up .

This morning, i checked my cic, and they are requesting for additional douments and also medical. But there were no messages below. So maybe there might be something wrong with the system. Fingers crossed, i still hope they really mean the medical request
