I just called CiC to inquire about my application as we got a text it was received April 25th but still no AoR or anything. And she had no information on my file. Said they are working on applications from April 28th and before. So could take a few more weeks. So frustrating and discouraging.

Im sorry its taking so long. I know they have become very backlogged in the last couple of months and having technical issues to boot.

Once you get AOR and SA, things will move and youll be busy with the requests that come through.

I am a May applicant and I just received request for uploading sched A. My linked account does not show this request. If I have to file through IRCC webform, the mail I received says the forms have to be actually signed. How does that work? Are we snail mailing the forms through IRCC?

An agent told us it's not needed to put a handwritten signature for Schedule A form as you write your first and last name. This means you are electronically signing the form.
Almost 95% of all mycic accounts doesn't show the updates. Mine showed the request to do my Medical. So just submitt your forms via IRCC Web Form. We also mailed it.

There’s a difference when the forms are being uploaded and when it is being sent by mail. In your request email, if it specifically asks that you hand sign the Schedule A before you mail it to them, then that request should not be omitted risking them to discard the form and request a new one from you. Avoid the risk of adding more delay to your application progress.

Hey all, April 28th applicant here. I finally got through to CIC to ask why I hadn't heard anything about our AOR1 yet. The agent said there's a note on our file that our package was incomplete (missing identification documents- impossible but anyway) and was sent back to me yesterday. My question is: has anyone had a package sent back and do they know approx how long it took to arrive from CIC to you? The agent told me they send it via regular mail and.. I just moved yesterday so my address is still on file as the old one. I don't want to miss getting it!

They send via regular mail . do not worry you will receive withing 7-10 business days.

You're too anxious about this!!!! You dont need to be. It can be weeks and weeks before they request anything. It was two weeks after AOR for us, and they are quite backlogged now and having technical issues....you should not be worried at all at this point, this is perfectly normal it has only been a week since you got aor. Just gotta give it a bit more time.

Well I'm the sponsor and I'm in Canada. My hubby the applicant is in Dominican Republic.

I have received a letter from cic for my wife to submit a form "details of police and government positions". This form does not have any immigration form number though.

Its just asking for basic information abt her govt service.

It sounds to me like your wife has worked for the police and the government in her country before. Is that correct? It looks like they want more information on he job position and work description. I seems that this request is specific to your case.

Yes she works for the provincial goverment in information technology department.
