I think you should decline it on this phase, but if you get married after submission all papers - you may ask to add you spouse. You can call to CIC to clarify this issue. Good luck and congrats with your ITA and wedding! Happy life to you!
If I accept this ITA. I need to add my wife in 5 days which will eventually reduce my point I believe. I have re-calculated points againa and I will stand at 384 after my marriage. :(
But I guess there isnt any other way of doing it except declining.

Did you read 2016 report? Do you have any insight on how many people who have siblings in Canada or speak French and actually have high scores? Before making such negative posts in RAY of HOPE thread do some research, thanks! A bit frustrated here! Sorry for bad note!
Do not be. This is Ray of Hope, and we need to be positive. Of course negative comments makes one go mad, because right now we need support and a good vibe.

As for me, it's really annoying to be 1 point away from the ITA, but if the downfall continues, sooner or later we'll receive our ITA.

Anyway, what's your CRS right now?
Have you received a NOI?

I know everyones frustrated. Even me. But I mean its very unlucky to have this additional points at this stage and give us shivers. I am worried as well. Hope you and every1 here get an invite and it fucking breaks 400 barrier as well. Cheers!
You have to put yourself on the shoes of the ones getting this boost.
If you were below 400 and had nice french abilities, but your age didn't help you, then this would be a nice break for you.

I know our fears is that, for a round, the score won't go down, but it's ok, remember they will invite more people in the following year, so the ITAs should go up. It's simple, the more the ITAs, the lower the minimun CRS.

Even if this time the break was not for us, let us be happy for the ones who are being given this chance. :)

If you have everything ready and send all the documents now, maybe you could add her to the process later, because the date of the marriage would be, in that case, after the AOR date.

Please, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Also, if you don't have all the documents ready, do some more research before declining the ITA, because it will take a while for the CRS to come down to 384.

On the other side, it is very difficult for a young marriage to separate for more than a year (if you decide to go first and sponsor her later), so I wouldn't recommend that. Better to wait together for the ITA.

The thing is I am already in canada and going back home for getting married in 5 days. I am thinking that best option would be to decline this ITA and bring her on SOWP and apply together later on.

Sorry to sound a bit negative. With new CRS points effective 6th june, I believe points will see a steep rise to 430+ given the additional points for french language and siblings coming into picture
I agree with your point that points will raise but it will be around 420(2nd week) in the first draw of June, however will come down to 410 in 2nd draw.

As I said in previous thread, don't know if you saw, we are happy to still have you here with us to encourage each other, so maybe 1 point is problem for you but for us it's like 100 likes for you! :)

I am currently sitting at 408, been in the pool for 6 months and I was thrilled when 415 was first time around and I thought great, I will get ITA soon but it seems I will have to wait a bit more :( I know it's coming but this waiting period is devastating, specially when some bad things are happening in my life and this ITA is kinda salvation that I need, really bad!

I haven't received NOI, my lawyers told if I want it they need to re-create my profile and since that didn't help in March because probably they didn't need my NOC (1311) I sad no need for that this time. Soooo, patience is the key I guess! Sorry for the long post!

once again, my prediction just exactly happened today. It seems that 411-415 range acts like a big black hole. I guess next time draw score will bump up to 425 after June 6 and following draw score will be around 411-420.

Completely agree. My lawyer told that we cannot add spouse after we submit our application and only after we get PR, we can sponsor them.

Btw my Crs is also 412 with an OINP nomination but I might not even apply as a single applicant because I am expecting to get married in a few months. I don't know what good would it be to goto Canada alone without spouse and wait for an year or so to sponsor her.

:) Thanks a lot for your nice comment.
I'll try to keep on with the positivity.

It is not shallow positivity, though... as 408 might be 2 consecutives draws away, or maybe 3 normal draws away.
Is you IELTS score maxed out?, I know it's expensive, but you could try earning the bonus points.

In my case, I learned some french from January to April, and in April 28th i toke the TEF. I know I got CLB7 in both computer skills (equivalent to listening and reading) and I know I did well on the writing tasks, however on the speaking part I didn't do so well. I haven't got the score, as they take more than 2 months in my country to receive it. You can guess how I feel about not having these scores to update my profile. o_O
But the point is, in 4 months I could learn a good amount of french (except for the speaking part, because I didn't practice that so much), because all it takes is the will. Maybe you could do that if the points stall at 410+

As for the recreation of your profile, if they'd recreated it after May 5th, maybe you could have a NOI from OINP, and even if it takes longer, you could a have a more solid chance with it. I though the NOI was NOC dependent, but it is not, I recreated my profile and received an invitation the day after. You could try doing so, and maybe you can get it. In march they weren't giving NOIs, but in May the were, so you have to pay attention to their news site to know when they're giving notice of interests:

As for the bad things happening in your life, I really wish you to overcome them. Nothing bad last forever.

If she has good knowledge of english, and a university degree, you could try applying together. If you're not marrying right away, you could use your time to prepare all your documents, and hers. If she has to study english, try to convince her to do so, help her, and maybe you can get the same or even better score as a couple.

Oh, sorry I didn't answer sooner.
Yes, if you're already in Canada with a student visa or work permit, I definitely think you should bring your wife with a SOWP.
After she's there, she could work and gain more points, for you as a couple, in the EE to apply for the PR.

Thank you for your advices! Sorry to hear that you didn't manage to get extra points for French but nevertheless you will get trough in the next round!

I got CLB 9 in all fields in IELTS, problem is my age, I'm 33, apparently a bit too old for getting more points :)

Don't tell me that points will stall around above 410, that would be devastating, so on the positive note, they will hit 400 soon! :)

Regarding NOI, even if I did get one I think it's longer route which in this state of mind it's not good for me! :)

Cheers to long posts! :D
