Guys, help with my situation please:
-> I need to show around 20,000 CAD (around 9.5 lacs) and i have the said amount in my account (although the average balance of 6 months will be lower as i got 1 lakh through LIC money back this month and other part through my salary recently). Will it be an issue?
No issues as long as current balance is above required funds and you can provide the trail of significant funds credited in your account within last 6 months and your ownership for the same.
I can attach my payslips and LIC statements in the LoE if required.Do that
-> Should i also show my accompanying spouse's account (she has lot of FDs) to further strengthen my case (as my account's average balance is low as per the above point)? If yes, then does her account statement also need to show similar stuff as the primary applicant i.e. account opening date, average balance etc. or can i only show 6 months statements?if your account has enough balance then no need else you can show spouse's account with all letters and supporting docs for significant credits in her account within last 6 months. In case you go with this, then get a declaration from your spouse that she allows you to utilize the funds for immigration purpose and she will be accompanying you upon receiving the COPR.
-> Should i also attach my PF statement worth > 20,000 CAD to boost my case
Only if bank account has lesser than the required funds. All these will be extra docs. You can go ahead with them or you can leave them, your call. But CIC is only concerned about the minimum required funds and they ask for 6 months average to figure whether you have e taken any loan for POF. Keep $1000 extra to cover exchange fluctuations.
