Hi... sorry to hear about rejection... I would suggest to reapply but just get all ur documents related to work to be very specific mention all the dates weather u claim points or not. Make proper separate letter for job u r claiming points from ur manager as reference letter with all the required information along with dates. As from my personal experience ....I am from nursing field and I did mention every little change is my job letter and my reference letter and my lawyer did wrote a pretty nice explanation letter so that officer doesn't find any confusion. It's ok to attached extra documents then to be rejected later.
I would also suggest to get such documents checked by lawyer... I would pay fee extra $$$ so that things are submitted in right way especially when we have few different things in our file.
Please do reapply and check ur correct score too before applying so that there is no space of error this time..

No, you are definitely right. I'm already on that. I got my job to provide me with the exact hours worked, etc. and will attach Letters of Explanation regarding whichever factors aren't concise.

Already submitted a new profile with CRS 491 and am hoping to get an invitation soon.

In regards to medical testing and such, I have asthma (have had for the last 10 or so years) but it is pretty well controlled. I've only been hospitalized about 4 times because my medication couldn't help but otherwise, no issues. Would that be ground for rejection?

It would be inhumane if you get rejected for such a resoan.. I would say I wouldnt actually go to a place where I would be evaluated based on such a medical condition...

First of all, I want to mention that I recently got my ITA and don't take this as an advice from an expert. My take on this is that 3 or more years of experience fetches only same points. So you could just get reference letter for NOC 2171 from your employer mentioning only those time period (4 years). You could remove your NOC 2174 (1 year) from you work history but mention it in your personal history section. Write an LOE stating that your employer will be able to provide one letter with current title only and also you are not claiming points for NOC 2174. In this way you will have your roles and responsibilities in company letter head and do not need to be dependent on any supervisor at all.

Combing roles and responsibilities of two different NOC's will lead to confusion based on my opinion.

Hey guys,

I just received a rejection letter, for my CEC inland application and am a little lost at the moment. I know some of you are more seasoned members and was hoping you could potentially provide some advice on how I should proceed.

The case officer wasn't happy with my letter of employment. The letter listed the starting date of my employment, as well as general hours, but was not properly dated and so the officer wasn't convinced of the duration of my employment. Even though I stated in my profile and the "Schedule A" form, that it still was my current place of employment.

Further, do I have several positions in the company, but only claimed points for one of them under a NOC. I did however not provide a proper run-down of my hours, as I should have, so the officer was again not convinced of my eligibility.

I know the decision is done, but I am definitely eligible and wanted to get your advice on how to proceed. My PGWP expires on Aug 31st. My current CRS is 491. I was thinking about reapplying for an ITA. This time with more than extensive documentation.

As a German citizen, I'm eligible for a "International Experience Class" and was gonna fall back on that as my worst case scenario. But again, I'm at a loss and hope you can help me out. I apologize for the long post.

CEC really based on your canadian work experience, worked hours, NOC category... So probably every requirements should be mention on the employer letter, to clearly proof your canadian work experience, eligible working hours,salary.
But those could be easily corrected by your employer. So you could apply again.
I am totally shocked that CIC did not give you any chance to correct those mistake.

They neither contacted my employer me or asked for a tax return etc. as a proof. It's disheartening how easily this could have been rectified. Further does this show that the officer did not seem to have gone over my application with all that detail.

But yeah, LOE definitely holds some weight, so hope others do learn from my mistake.

I'm already back in the EE pool, with 491 points, hoping to get AOR within the next three months, all supporting documents are ready and I will provide several LOE for anything that looks confusing.

I don't think so, as long as you include it on your Background document with your PR application.

I have the problem of CANADIAN degree completion/convocation.. I chose awarded in the EE profile and just got ITA but convocation is next week.. I finished last year and I have the letter of completion (it certifies that I completed the requirements of my degree but certificate/degree will be given in june convocation)... if I submit the certificate when i get it.. would it be fine?... Is the letter of completion enough to use?..

Also transcript shows confer date as june 2017... but completed date as nov. 2016

Generally, the completion letter is prima facie evidence that you will be awarded the degree. I think it's clear that completion letter is not proof that your degree was awarded, and you should not claim points for a degree that has not been awarded.

You should calculate what your score is without the awarded degree. If it's higher than the cut off for the ITA you have, then I would continue to eAPR. If it's lower, then you should decline ITA now, remove it, and update your profile once the degree is officially awarded.

My university confers my degree after almost 9 months after graduation

I think I put my completion date as my graduation date in my application. I completed my program in December 2015, degree conferred in February 2016. Both dates are on the transcript, so I am not worried about it.

I received a refusal on 26th May due to incorrect CRS calculation by my consultant. They put 475 instead of 468 due to which my score went below the cut-off of 475...Sadly this was after almost 4 months of waiting. Feels extremely disappointed when I see the cut off reaching such bottom levels and yet just for a few numbers my application got refused Now waiting again in the pool.
