Hi I believe, whatever hope we all have is this year only, since cic's target to invite candidates have never been as much as it is now.
I am too at 396 and wish the score to drop below 400 soon.
But all we can do is pray and remain positive. :)

By the way, what are your ielts score. You can try and resit it?
You and me are going to get ITA together.:)

Hi Guys,

I am new to this thread. Recently received my IELTS score which has increased my CRS from 397 to 448. Now that getting an ITA is almost inevitable, I have one another concern. I have a total work experience of 6.5 years but have been out of job for the last 4 months as I am doing something of my own. While creating EE profile, should I just provide details about my 6.5 years of work experience? If yes, would they ask me to explain for these 4 months?

PS - My own venture neither has a name nor any registartion, thus I can't prove anything about it.

Thanks!
I believe it does not matter.

For non Canadian experience, you should have 3 years of experience in last 10 years to get maximum points.

Cheers!!

Recently, my IELTS results were withheld as well. Mostly this happens when the difference in score between any 2 of your module is equal to or greater than 2 points. i.e say you got 6.5 on writing and 8.5 in reading (which was my case), your results can be withheld and the module will be evaluated once more.
Mine also has been withheld; I appeared on May 13th. Please share your results once it is made available to you.

It was a huge surprise from CIC, I just came back today to this forum and everything was changed. FSTP always used to be few in numbers with low crs scores, and therefore, CIC might have given them chance this time. Also, a year back there was news that CIC may do separate draws for PNP/FSTP and CEC/FSW but there was no such event till yesterday. The second thing was conducting PNP/FSTP on each Friday like IEC and CEC/FSW on Wednesdays on fortnightly basis.

Now there are two possibilities either it was the test run of such proposal, or it was just another theory of CIC (It may be true if we do have draw this Wednesday). 60% of people in Express Entry are from CEC, 27% from PNP, 12% from FSW, and only 1% from FSTP. Having different scores for all four categories will assure that everyone will have equal chance to get selected.

My Predictions: It is my guess that Scores for CEC will be lower than FSW scores due to more applicants in the pool (if we have separate draws). Also, if the trend of this type of draw continues then we will see PNP/FSTP applications to be concluded within 3 months instead of 6 months after June Changes.

OINP Updates:

OINP will start distributing nominations from next week. So, applicants with the decision in progress till 26th May have high chances of getting nominations in the upcoming week. Good Luck for that.

Finally, the only thing I am 100% sure is that CIC have a lot of surprises for us in the future.
Hi iam new to this thread and stuck with my ilets score to boost my crs!!!
I keep seeing ur comments and want to ask u how low the crs can go this year for FSW???

After looking at your spreadsheet, my hopes for getting an ITA have became even stronger now because there is always a difference of a week between cic's stats date and actual draw date :) so 31st May seems like the big day!
Yes. All the best brother.

So far, 401-410 range has added only 500+ candidates in last 2 Months and only around 250 in 391-400. So all misfired IELTS scores are falling around 390-420 for most of the cases and CLB 9 for 425+. And even after we consider NOI's from these two range, these numbers can't be too high.

So my assumptions says, if they are 150 entries per day, they are entering as below.

425-600+- 20-30
390-420-70-80
300-389-20-40

My mind will stop manipulating from Monday and emotions will prevail over logic till Wednesday Night. :D:D:D

Hello Seniors,

Need help for my brother.

My sister-in-law is primary applicant. She has a valid NOC and associated reference letters and all the necessary documents. However, my brother is running his own business. Currently we are trying to create EE profile (to be able to get ITA)

Questions are:

1. What do we write in work history section for my brother
- how do we identify NOC when he is self employed. He is doing everything by himself. Moreover, his business conduct is extremely informal i.e. no registrations, no sales tax, no VAT, no billings. Usually in India, small scale businesses are run in this manner. Even though we are not availing any points for his work experience but still CIC is asking for it. Kindly suggest how can we show in our current situation.

2. My sister-in-law doesnt use her last name i.e. surname field in her passport is blank. In this case what do we write in Last name while create EE profile. As the tool doesnt allow us to leave "last name field" empty.
