Hello everyone,
I am writing for a friend of mine. He submitted his outland sponsorship on April 13 but still hasnt recieved an AOR. He called CIC call centre and they told him that if the application was sent on or after April 19th then it is still being worked on. If it was sent before April 19th then there is nothing on their file. Anybody else experiencing the same thing? Does anyone know why this could be?

At this point I would start considering the very real possibility that the application is being returned to him. If it is being returned you can expect to see it in the mail soon. They are behind this month, yes, but they are well past April 13 applicants now. There is always a chance it could be a fluke and he will later receive AOR, but the more likely possibility now, at this point, is that it is being returned. Sorry : (

You don't have to get a certified translation of chat history, your own translation is enough

Request to send medical results : April 13, 2017

Passed the medical : April 21, 2017
Schedule A form sent via IRCC Web Form : May 19, 2017

We have been waiting to receive updates from CIC in our online account, but nothing has changed since.
How long should we wait to send my passport to a Visa Office? Please HELP.

I am the principal applicant. I am currently staying in Canada with my spouse as a visitor. I put my residential address as my address in the US (since technically that's still where I "reside", I am just visiting Canada.) I put my mailing address as my husband's address in Canada (where I am currently staying). That is not allowed... but you would never know that based on the instructions. If the PA mailing address is listed different from the PA residential address, you have to include the Use of a Representative form authorizing the person who lives at that mailing address to receive communication on behalf of the PA. So my application was returned, since I did not know to include the Use of a Representative Form.

I resubmitted on 4/27 and still waiting for AOR.

Nope! If you get your AOR1 you are good.

he just updated me that what the CIC agent meant was that if it was sent before April 19th, then it should have been processed with a confirmation number already as they are processing those received on or after April 19th.

I have gotten a LOT of misinformation from CIC call agents. They don't have the same level of info as the Immigration officer. Apps are processed out of order sometimes based on efficiency and workload of officers. I would personally take this info with a grain of salt and sit tight a little longer.

you cannot send your passport to visa office unless they request you to do so.

Most likely that you have been approved as a sponsor

Just uploaded schedule A via webform today. Not going to wait for too long as it has been 5 business days already.

You dont have to do anything, mine was 99% native as well but they accepted it so not a problem. Make sure when you take screenshot try to show the date as well, cheers

That means you have been approved as a Sponsor. You will get an email with attachment & if you want to make sure just call CIC & they will tell that you are approved, cheers
