Leaver's Certificate?

Hello! It's been a while since I posted in this forum... not since we were applying for Permanent Residency over four years ago.

Anyway, my husband and I are prepping his application for Canadian citizenship now and we were wondering what might satisfy the English language requirement. He was born and raised in England, so obviously he speaks English. I found something called a "Leaver's Certificate" from his old school. Would that suffice? Should there be more, or something else?

1. That would be find, but he would also require a statement/letter from the school that the medium of instruction was English.
