That's the full content of the email, I just deleted my personal info. Yes, I do have dependents included in the application. I noticed, mine is quite different from others...this makes me nervous. You think I am going to be denied???
No, that's not a procedural fairness letter. That's what they send when they are about to deny a case..

I am trying to wrap my head around why it looks like an H&C letter. Was your sponsor asked to attend the interview? If not, that could be an indication that they want to know more about your story, and about your dependants. If your sponsor was asked to attend, then it can be a relationship interview...

It's probably a QA or Relationship interview.

QA interviews have been randomly cropping up more, because they are pushing more cases through the system faster. The QA interviews are a feedback to make sure that officers are catching specific things upstream. They would ask pretty much anything to do with your file. Usually, these show up later in a case (around AIP or between AIP and DM).

Relationship interviews can ask any question, personal or not, regarding your relationship with your sponsor. Typically these show up before AIP (between SA and AIP). They need to assess if the PA is a member of the family class, before AIP...

In either case, just tell them the truth. If you have nothing to hide, it's no issue.

What kind of questions should I expect? Anyone knows from experience. Thank you
Congrats Maina! and probably the basic 3 questions. Everyone says it lasts about 5 minutes. Whether you've been denied entry. Have any dependents etc and forgot the other question. I think ever committed a crime?

Yeah about 5 minutes. We got there when there was 2 others waiting (15 minutes before our 9am appointment). One (poor lady!) had forgot to read that she must pay RPRF before trying to land! So, in the lobby, she was trying to pay it on her phone!

Others showed up just after us, so the agent had to keep asking for passports. 10 couples in all showed up while we were there waiting. We were out and walking away about 8:55am.

Questions vary, but are usually:
- Have you committed a criminal offence in Canada (or anywhere)
- Have you ever been denied entry into Canada (or anywhere)
- Do you have any dependents you have not disclosed

They are not intended to be a test. It's stuff you, and they, already know. They are only validating what they have found. So, just tell them the truth, and land!

I also find it interesting that people will let their status lapse, then freak out when it comes to landing (because they have slipped into "Out-of-status" territory). Do they not think that, CIC of all organizations can't find that out or don't already know?? It's on their computer screens when they go to print out your COPR! If they invite you to an interview, and you have a DM, you are going to land. SO, relax. It's totally the worst movie ever -- there is no climax to the story. They even do it in the lobby, where everyone can hear!

Congrats @Maina4576
