Buddy, I understand your concern and it is valid to be paranoid about these things. My first choice would be not to mention about such memberships since they don't matter from your PR eligibility standpoint.Thank you Mike for the response. Yes, these are IT Security certifications. There is very think line between over complicate and misrepresentation. IRCC has kept many things on guessing and their rejection rate is something worrying me.
However, if you do mention these memberships, make sure you describe them in full detail and add any links for their websites. E.g. "It is a globally recognised IT Industry certification / membership with credential holders/members located all across the world. I am not claiming any points on account of this certification. The examining organization is based in XYZ City, ABC State, USA. I attained this certification / membership on XXXX date and it is valid through XXXX date."
You definitely don't want the COs sitting on your application wondering what these memberships and the organisations mean. I am an IT guy (ITIL Expert, PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner) so I was able to make out what these are.
