Is it true that OINP sends NOI on Fridays only?

No that's not true. OINP can send NOI any day they wish. The most recent NOI I know was issued on 18th May.

OINP processes applications and then send the NOI on regular basis.

You better tell your friends to update themselves or just stop working on an immigration consultancy...

- 8 months minimum was before when the process was paper-based. Currently, there are people getting a nomination in less than a week since apply, maximum people is waiting around 1-2 months average to receive a nomination.

- $1500 and non-refundable, yes always have been like this.

- There is no such a preference for people living in Ontario. If you received NOI and submit all right documents, you will get a nomination.

I am at CRS 434, my strategy ius to wait until June 30 for regular ITA. If that doesnt happen. I will apply for OINP. I'd suggest the same strategy for you.

Hi, I had a question about Bank Statements or Fixed Term Deposits as Proof of Funds. Do these have to be on the bank letterhead? Or can they be printed out on plain paper and stamped and signed by the bank official?

Don't know, it is possible that score go down to 406 in 1-2 months, but also is possible the OINP quota to be full in 1-2 months. Anyway, if I am you i would start preparing all the docs for OINP, so if after a couple of draws you want to apply, can do it in one day.

It appears that Ontario doesn't select profiles based on CRS score or even NOC. As long as you are above 400 and have recently recreated your profile, you've a good chance of being invited to apply.

i have created my profile of Express Entry on 01.05.2017, still i need to recreate it? or as it is very much new i won't require to create it again?

can you tell us when have you created you profile? my crs score is 405 and i am also expecting that the score will go down between 400-405 in couple of draw but still i cannot judge any thing, as per 12 may 2017 there are only 8000 candidates who have crs score above 400 and then on 17th May 3600 have already received ITA so on next draw if more 3500 and around will be invited (common trade since jan 2017 that on an average 3500 and more ITAs are issued on every draw) then there are fair chances that in next round crs cutoff would be between 405-410.

Recreated on 11th April, got NOI on 12th April, for the rest, see my signature.

NOI is valid for 6 months.

Hey folks!

A quick question, my status for background check has changed to NOT APPLICABLE last week. Before it was "Your application is in progress. The next step is to conduct a background check."
Does this happens? I mean how could it go to not applicable or what could be the reason? Or is that they have competed the background check?
