Hey guys,
I have been here in canada for 2 years doing my PhD. I would like to apply for humanitarian compassionate and stay here in Canada. any one can guide me how to apply or were should I apply.

No - there is no minimum time. However you do have to be in Canada to apply.

Thanks for your reply,, just needs an extra idea here please.. as ive check the processing time it will take 300 months processing for the permanent residency. will it really take that long?? or will they allow you to apply for work permit or anything first? Thanks in advance

I don't where you checked 300 months but even today as of now, CIC shows 30 months to finalize application. My mom's application was finalized and got PR in 18 months.

how about this question 12 of Supplementary Information Humanitarian and Compassionate Consideration?
"Provide any documentation that would support your statements on how you intend to support yourself and your family while your application is in process. (e.g. a letter from your employer)" what if i dont have a current employer? Thanks

Was this for outland application? I applied for humanitarian december 2016, was deported on failed refugee claim on july 24 2017 and got humanitarian approved on september 19 2017
I have a year going through this application, so far security and criminal checks have been processed, 3 months into arc application and then medicals are left
