To all who have applied for the COC from SPF after appeal approval - My appeal for COC has been approved today. I went inside the app to request the COC. However, I find that some of the fields have become blank like -

1. Highest Education
2. Period of stay
3. Country for which COC is to be submitted
4. Reasons for emigrating - I gave one reason for the same

None of these fields have the data as was in the appeal request. Is this a case with all or just with me? Please help

Thank you in advance.

Please check the application, if there are missing information in your actual request.

I got a letter from Canada Immigration office to provide them the Singapore PCC. As mentioned in this group, I applied for one online and submitted my application. But i did not see any option for the payment. Can anyone please help me with the process? After submitting the application, what exactly I need to do next? Do i wait for the approval to pay the fees or is there any other option to pay beforehand? Is it mandatory to send the finger prints to the Singapore Police? Please help!!

Hi, I have a question about the duration of my stay question while applying for the appeal.

Should I start on the date when my EP was issued or the date I first landed in Singapore under visitor pass with IPA.

Hope you can help me on this. Thank you.

Hi Sanme,

Please read FAQs before proceeding. This will provide you complete information on the process. http://ifaq.gov.sg/SPF/apps/fcd_faqmain.aspx#TOPIC_10626

If you are a singaporean/PR, the process is to directly apply for the COC. However, if you are a non Singaporean then you have to apply for the appeal. If appeal is approved then only you can apply for the COC.

As said by you that you have received the letter from IRCC for Singapore PCC, please include that in your appeal request. It takes around 5 working days for appeal to approve. After appeal approval, you can go for the request for the COC. If you are not in Singapore, then you have to forward the e-acknowledgement receipt and finger prints (through registered agency) to COC.

Hope this helps.

Thank you!

Hi, I'm still in the process of filling the eSPF application online and waiting to get clarified for some queries.

Once I submit successfully, will definitely share you my status.

Right now, am providing below supporting docs

1. Letter from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada requesting for Certificate of Clearance.
2. Copy of scanned biometric page of my passport
3. Copy of Scanned photograph
4. Employment Pass – Since I don’t have the EP card, I’m providing below supporting documents as a proof of evidence.
- Copy of the In-Principle Approval letter received to enter Singapore
- Copy of Employment pass stamping page from my passport
- Copy of my Payslip, showcasing my earnings in Singapore
- Copy of my Singapore -IRAS Income Tax Letter
- Copy of my Employment Pass cancellation letter
- Relieving letter from the employer

Addresses where I stayed in Singapore. I've prepared a covering letter in which I've provided all these information. But thinking of including them in the Plea box in the 2nd step of filling the application.

Waiting for some suggestion who have obtained the COC using the new online process.

Hey Santosh!

Just wanted to ask a quick doubt. Where did you upload all the documents instead of your original employment pass??

I too dont have my student pass with me currently. But the SPF website is asking to upload the front and back side of my students pass. What do i do??

Hey,

I've uploaded the EP stamping page + In-principle approval letter under NRIC front & back, since I don't have EP card with me.

Also as a proof of evidence, I've enclosed all the below docs and mentioned in my LOE. Hope this helps you and All d best for COC.

Friends,
Would like to share the information about the validity of COC when we upload in our acct in CIC. I've mentioned as 1 year.

I've raised the query and got below update from SPF, hope this will be useful.

Thank you for your preceding email regarding the Certificate of Clearance (COC).

The COC issued by the Singapore Police Force does not have any expiry date on the certificate.

It depends on the requesting authority’s decision to accept the certificate with a validity of 3 months, 6 months, 12 months or 2 years.

However, if you wish to apply for a duplicate certificate, it must be within 6 months of the certificate issued.

But what did you upload in the place that says "upload front of NRIC" and "upload back of NRIC" ?

I assume you uploaded all the above mentioned documents in the "other documents" section.

Hi Santosh, LDRBJP and any one who has submitted the Singapore COC and have received the e-APR,

I have received the Singapore COC with a date of issue as 15 May 2017. It has my name, passport no and photo. But it does not have the signature and stamp. Is it normal?

Following is the text

"This is to certify that MRXXXXX, NXXXXXX (whose photograph is affixed) has no criminal record with this department in Singapore from XX Month XXXX to XX Month XXXX. This certificate is issued for the holder for use in Canada.

Criminal Investigation Department
Singapore Police Force
This is a computer generated document. No signature required.
"

Is the same issued to all?

Thank you!

Thank you for the confirmation.

In-fact, I have checked with other forum members offline and finds that they too dont have the signature & stamp in their COC. The situation is same with all of them.

By the way, you have crossed 150 days after AOR, around six months. What could be reason for no PPR in your case? Is Singapore COC accepted by IRCC?

good question ... my 6 months marks will be next around mid of June...
i don't know why I still haven't received the PPR ... my LVO is in Paris and it seems that they are quite slow in processing applications...
So far, I just know that they well received my COC and that's it ...
They haven't even started my eligibility, security and criminality (as per the GCMS notes generated on April 19th ...)

Good luck with your applications ;)

Question folks - I recd the ITA yesterday and need a PCC from Singapore for my spouse alone for the duration she was there. Has anyone been successful in submitting an appeal without the request letter and getting the PCC? If I give the ITA letter in my name along with a marriage certificate to show proof of relationship, will it be considered or any additional documents are also needed to have them consider the appeal

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks
