Dear Sir/Mdm,

I am XXXXX, a citizen of XXXXX and presently residing in XXXXXX. Me and my spouse (XXXXXX) have applied for Canadian Permanent Residence (PR) and my spouse XXXXXXX is a primary applicant (PA) for the Canadian Permanent Residence application.

Recently, we have received an “invitation to apply (ITA)” from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and in response of the same, we have to perfect our application and provide the supporting’s as demanded.

One of the requirements is to provide “Police Clearance Certificate (PCC)” by principal applicant and the accompanying spouse/dependent for each country where an individual has lived for a total of six months or more.

I (XXXXXX) have lived in Singapore for more than six months XX MONTH XXXX to XX MONTH XXXX. The details are as listed below –

XXXXX

To qualify my appeal for the Singapore Certificate of Clearance, I am enclosing the following documents for your reference as a documentary proof that COC is required and its purpose.

1. ITA letter issued to my spouse – XXXXXX

2. Requirement to submit a complete electronic application by IRCC specifying the requirement of the Police Clearance Certificate (take a snapshot from the website)

3. Permanent Residence application showcasing my name as accompanying spouse ( in your ITA application)

4. Document checklist showcasing the requirement of the PCC (after you fill all the information, checklist is generated)

5. Passport of my spouse – XXXXX endorsed with my name

6. Passport of self – XXXXX endorsed with my spouse name

Rest of the documents required during the appeal stage has been attached in the respective document placeholder. (It was travel details captured from passport, employment pass copy etc.)

I request your good self to please approve my appeal to apply for the Certificate of Clearance.

Thank you in advance for the help on this subject.

But what did you upload in the place that says "upload front of NRIC" and "upload back of NRIC" ?

I assume you uploaded all the above mentioned documents in the "other documents" section.

I've uploaded my EP stamping page and In-principle approval letter in both front & back of NRIC upload option. Merge together as one pdf doc.

Hi Everyone, I am required to submit a COC from Singapore with my EE application, although I am facing an issue here. Request anyone to help. It is a complex query, hence would appreciate if we could converse through email or whatsapp for convenience. Please PM me. Thanks.

Regards
Srini

Thanks! Have submitted the appeal yesterday - how long do they generally take to approve/deny the appeal?

Five to seven working days. Wish you all the best with your appeal.

To all who have requested Singapore PCC from outside Singapore, how did you find the 'agency' for fingerprinting? Is it listed somewhere on SPF website? Did SPF inform you the place to get the fingerprinting done when they accepted your appeal?

This question hasn't been asked very often so I am thinking that I must be missing something very simple here.

I do not think they have specified. I need PCC for my wife and am waiting on the appeal decision. I have taken fingerprints for FBI clearance in US on FBI mandated cards. Am planning to send the same to SPF. I believe as long as they have a good set of prints you should be ok. Just google and see any professional fingerprinting services. Hope this helps.

Thanks.
I figured if I can find out how how FBI fringerprints are done here in Korea, I can just follow the same.
Google tells me to go to the biggest policestation in my area to get this done. Will give it a shot. :)
Good luck on your appeal.

Anyone else who has done his / her fingerprints from outside Singapore? Kindly share your experience.

In Delhi (India), there is an private (but credible) agency which does the fingerprinting. The agency guy's father was in police forensic division. After retirement, he has setup this practice.

Can anyone you have already obtained a Singapore PCC share what kind of text it has.
I suppose it lists the dates. But does it also mention addresses or any other particulars?

Any information in this matter would be highly appreciated.

Appeal was denied because the request letter did not have spouse's name. They specifically mentioned we do not accept screenshots or other supporting documentation :-) Thanks for the help - guess will have to submit documents and wait for CIC to provide the letter.

if i have a relative living in singapore, can i send her my fingerprint impressions and she will be the one to submit directly to the COCoffice? Or is she only allowed to pick up the COC?

I tried my luck last week and appealed with my ITA. To my surprise, it got accepted and now I have to send my fingerprints. My last date of submitting all docs to CIC is August 3. I am not sure if I will get the COC on time. SO my question is:

Can I apply without the COC stating that "I am applying from a country that requires an official request letter from IRCC to get a police certificate" and then upload the COC after AOR, which would be maximum if 10 days, but without the official request letter from IRCC?
